Went here for a friends daughters birthday. Nice little park.Playground was great for the kids! Have a great Time!

Filled with trash and horrible facilities. Hiking paths aren't awful but the creek smells horrible and is littered with everything possible- glass, plastic bags, a shopping cart (yes), CDs, etc. There are so many better places in the area. I recommend that you visit Cove Springs or McConnell Springs or just anywhere else.

Went for a brief walk on the trail with my kids, and played hide and seek around the playground. It was around the time that school was out so there were some small groups of older kids about, but we did not disturb each other.

The grounds are pretty, the walkways can be in areas very narrow, and breaking blacktop, it can be a hazard for falls. The park has everything one would need for reunions, cookouts under the pavilion, the grounds are decently kept. The cons are too many teenagers are loitering at the park as a hangout, not to play basketball, etc.

This park is much more than a playground. It has a bubbling stream to sit by and listen to. It has a walking trail that winds through the woods complete with little wooden bridges that span the creek. It has a pavilion for group events and picnics. I sometime take my lunch break there, just for the peacefulness of the park.

Big Spring Park is by far the elite park in Versailles.. It's excellent for children of all ages and is very popular for adults with its beautiful walking trail in the woods and around the Big Spring Creek. Highly suggest it for all ages! If your strolling through town and on a budget then this will be a great place to stop!
