This is a throw back to a genuine hardware store like you grandfather used to go to. They have everything. I was looking for a particular stainless steel screw and they had them in stock. Just walking around is amazing. Damn fine store and very friendly folks to help you find those hard to fine items. They also have some canned goods and frozen meat. Now what more could you ask for??

I know a hardware store, yes, but so much more! Hardware and some different things for the home that you don't see everywhere, Cajun spices and cookbooks and Mardis Gras and LSU and Saints merch! We were there for an hour plus going up and down the isles and may I say the staff was the best, welcoming, knowledgeable and fun!!!!! We had fun. Bought spices, wind chime, I had never seen! And Mardis Gras dish towels and ornaments and a flag. Being in Texas, Mardis Gras merch and unusual merch hard to find! They had it here and great magnets as well. They even got down the Mardis Gras Flag off the wall for me to purchase! This is your spot for Mardis Gras, not only what we bought but dinner ware, decorations, napkins all here and they will have more as the season gets closer. Also BBQ pits, supplies, yard gear and on and on! I love this place. Thanks ya'll at Tubss for a fiun and festive afternoon!

It is always an amazing experience when you walk into an establishment to be greeted by the owner themself. The store had more than what I came for. When I purchasing what I wanted, my children were given complimentary moon pies! I was thanked for giving them business even though the store was thriving! I had purchased a few heavy items and the cashier was adamant that someone help me to the car. I assured her that I was okay and then none other than Mr. Tubbs helped me out to my car!! I am always very pleased to give local businesses my business, but I will continue to give my patronage to Tubbs!!!

Hardware stores aren’t usually very high on my list of places to visit while I’m vacationing, but this was an interesting hardware store. I think we saw an ad in a magazine that talked about how Tubbs had a Mardi Gras-related mural and a selection of Cajun gifts, and it really wasn’t out of our way, so we decided to visit. The mural was on a side lot near the parking lot, but it was the section of Mardi-Gras related merchandise near the front of the store we found most interesting. T-shirts, masks, a whole wall of Mardi Gras beads, toys and novelties, lots of Cajun and southern food mixes, a big selection of hot sauce, and everything alligator-related you can imagine, including some taxidermied gators. The truth is, we didn’t spend any money here and treated the place like a museum, but we had fun looking around and probably stayed 30 to 45 minutes. Seemed like a decent hardware store too!

A friend told me that "it was the place to go for Mardi Gras and Louisiana souvenirs". I was overwhelmed with their selection. Of course, I had to check out the tools and hardware too. They have a great selection of cast iron cookware. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed my visit and shopping trip.

I’m not sure what you’re looking for, but this place probably has it! They have just about a little bit of everything. I always enjoy walking around and looking. The people are friendly and knowledgeable too.

I love to go to Tubbs, there is all sorts of neat items, decorations, tools, flags, souveners, cooking equipment, plumbing equipment, bird feeders, too many items to mention all. The most fabulous things they sell are the Mardi Gras items. Fabulous!
Plus they sale King's Cakes, and spice mixes.

Tubbs has an eclectic mix of merchandise from riding mowers to Mardi Gras souvenirs to hardware and outdoor cooking equipment. If you're going to make 70 gallons of Brunswick stew, then Tubbs is the place to get your pot and burner. Worth an hour of so if you're in the Shreveport area. Oh and they also sell king cakes.

If you are driving through Bossier City... STOP HERE! Yes, they will meet all your hardware needs but they also have gifts, home items, Mardi Gras throws, and KING CAKE! If you are not a Louisiana native or lover, a King Cake is an oval-shaped bakery delicacy, crossed between a coffee cake and a French pastry. The owner is amazingly nice and came out to meet us when he found out we came from out of town to try their king cake. I’m a king cake snob (i love king cake) and Tubbs was one of the best I’ve ever had. Do yourself a favor and stop here, especially if it is around Carnival time (February & March)!

Had read about this place online & wanted to check it out. Had also heard about their extreme king cakes. Loved everything related to Mardi Gras. Bought lots of beads & even a Mardi Gras dip mix. They were sampling the king cake which was nice & fresh. I bought one to take home & it was not nice & fresh. Very dry. I'll definitely go back for the Mardi Gras goodies but not for the King Cake.
