It is correct that you start your course in the pool if you do the Open Water Course. If you want to do the Advanced Open Water Course then you will go directly into the ocean, you will not start in the pool. Hi, Sorry for the delay. I didn't see your question coming up on my notification feed until now. The open water course costs 18450 pesos, excluding the environmental fee. If you don't want to get certified but you just want to try diving you can do a Discover scuba dive. That will set you back 3150 pesos. Warm regards, Ben
