I remember going to this as a kid and wanted my daughter to experience it too! It's so cheap to get in. The woman working there the day we went was so helpful and answered all of my daughter's questions about where the animals came from and what is used for the taxidermy part. We really enjoyed seeing all the animals, some I remember being there 35 years ago! If I didn't live in another state, I would visit it more often. If you are ever in this area, this is a must visit! And it's a Pokestop for you Pokemon Go players!!

Stopped by with my 7 year old for her birthday. There were many neat animals to check out! We loved it and will be coming back!!!

I've visited here a couple of times, once before I had my child then later with my child and her friends.I think the owners are very sweet and have gone beyond the taxidermy trade to try to have a positive influence on their fellow man. for that, I commend them. The taxidermy exhibits could use a facelift...some of them are pretty dated.
In all fairness, the owners charge so little for admission, it must be a labor of love to keep the doors open.
If you have children and/ or a desire to learn more about taxidermy, this is still a worthwhile stop.

The owner of the museum was really sweet. Her husband and her traveled to different countries to get the museum exhibits. Very nice place to take children.

I had never been and Iived in Shreveport-Bossier my entire life. Really awesome place and amazing taxidermy. Fun for the whole family and plenty to see and learn. Will definitely return.

The taxidermy collection at this museum is overwhelming. There are two floors and countless animals ! You could play I Spy and miss some of the critters. You can tell the specimens were cared for and preserved with the utmost respect. The guide was full of good energy and had a lot of information on the practice and fun stories to share. I recommend this museum to everyone.

Bunch old taxidermist animal mounts. Takes 5 minutes to see all the exhibits. More like carnival novelty. Kids get a kick out of it

We have taken the kids here several times. Lots of different animals- all taxidermied. Each one is in a scene behind glass. Lots and lots of items on display. 2 stories worth of things to see. News articles and local memorabilia including an area with Bonnie and Clyde stuff. Even some captive deer you can feed behind the museum. Family owned and run- makes me feel good to patronize this local place.

This place is excellent! I dont want to say to much because part of the thrill is experiencing the weirdness and revelling in it. The museum was started by a gentleman who was an avid hunter and he started this place as a place to show off his taxidermy. They also highlight his favorite bible verses and favorite tv shows. The admission is only about $5 and it is well worth it! You could easily spend 3 hours in this place and not see everything. It is jam packed. Once you go here, you become an ambassador and recruit people to come visit. You will know you have arrived when you see a giant bear standing up out front.
