Fun afternoon on the farm with the grandkids. Fun playground both inside and outside. The animal pens are easy to access and view. This time of year they had many baby lambs and piglets. They have scheduled feeding times which were interactive. They have a nice cafe with several options and various kids meals. Delicious baked goods and coffee were enjoyed.

Loved our visit here on a sleety afternoon. Staff were so helpful and was lovely to see lambs pigs goats alpancas! I played with the rats which was a highlight for me...so cute and I was like a big kid! Cafe was added bonus.Food was so good

I'd been watching this place on facebook and it looked fab. Its a small farm and initially, I thought the tickets were quite pricey but went anyway. On arrival, I found the place smaller than expected but my goodness, the animals were so well looked after. The sheep and lambs all had a nice pen with lots of fresh straw, there was plenty of staff about and the whole place was very clean. The cafe was better than expected with an open kitchen, lots of delicious cakes and pleasant staff. If I'd had small children with me, there was a super indoor play area and both adult and children wc's and basins.
The lady who carried the lambs to allow everyone a chance to bottle feed must have muscles of iron (thank you to that person !). All in all, a lovely trip and somewhere I felt deserved the £11 on line ticket price

Amazing little farm for younger kids, they loved petting the animals and feeding the lambs. It isn’t somewhere you could spend the whole day with the kids. I do think however it’s very expensive for a family of 5 considering you have to buy lunch on top of that.

Absolutely lovely. Staff were helpful. Ideal.place for young families. Seeing new born lambs was delightful. Lots of signs giving helpful.information and great for being able to engage with the animals. Not sure about the unisex toilets. Lots of handwashing stations. Nice little cafe

Super visit to see Santa this year.
Everywhere is well looked after and going into see Santa was a real treat.
Santa was a smashing old boy who really engaged with the children and was right on their wave length. He even videotaped a message for our grandchildren who weren’t able to come along due to illness.
The animals are all lovely to see and the children love the fact that they can get into the pens with some of them. The nativity area was really sweet and the donkeys are beautiful and there was an indoor wooded walk to see Santa.
The shop has a variety of goods for all price ranges and the cafe array of cakes are amazing.
A really fun family outing for old and young alike.

I can highly recommend "Church Farm" for a fantastic place to see Father Christmas. Although it was the coldest day of the year so far there was plenty to do to keep us warm. We started off looking round the animals and when it was time to see Father Christmas we went into a brilliant waiting area with donkeys, sheep and some goats and waited to be called through to see the big man. Father Christmas was excellent with the children, parents and even grandparents. The Elves were waiting for us with bubbles and some truly terrible jokes and they made the experience really special. We then warmed up with coffee and some pizza. We finished off in the indoor play area. All in all it was a special day for all involved

This lovely family run farm is full of things to do, mostly for children, but also a great cafe with incredible cakes for adults. We love coming here with the grandchildren. Lots of outdoors things to do - trampolines, mini tractors, giant sandpit and straw bales. At the moment there’s a Xmas/winter market and lots of Xmas gifts in the shop. Lovely welcoming place.

Amazing, clean, organised farm with lovely, friendly animals and nice staff as well. It was our second visit in 2 weeks, we loved it so much. Our favourites are the kunekune pigs, they are so cute and friendly, couldn't get enough of them. Lovely playground, clean toilets, cheerful staff who were willing to get themselves wet in their faces with the wet sponge throw. The only animal where the gates could be a bit lower so the kids could reach them and stroke them are the cute rabbits. Didn't have time for the forest walk, but we will do it definitely next time when we are back.

It sounds like you visited during our October half term themed week, we have lots of extra activities which you obviously enjoyed.
The reason we don't have low fences around the small animals is so that they are not petted/stroked by the public when they are not supervised. Our staff regularly get our smaller residents ( rats, guinea pigs & rabbits) out for the public at our "Animal Encounter" sessions, so that we can make sure that the animals are not stressed and are happy to be petted, we rotate the different animals so they are only out for short periods of time.

Yes, we have lots of out door picnic areas, some undercover. Or you can picnic around the play areas, just bring a blanket.
