Having been over the top of these bridges it was an awesome experience to pass under them. The size and strength of all these crossings is out of this wall. Truly breathtaking

This was an amazing structure to see and especially when you get to travel under it on the water! Stopped & tendered here on our cruise ship. It was sad to hear of the tragedy that happened during the building of the bridge. Glad we were able to see this structure.

The Forth bridges are almost as legendary as the Loch Ness monster. Only they exist. No, really, they do. And you can see them, in reality. And stunning they are too. The iconic rail bridge is still a staggering piece of engineering, as aesthetically pleasing today as it was when it was erected.
A must see if in Scotland, not seeing the bridges would be a crime.
Majestic, miraculous, marvellous.

Parked at the Southern End of the 1960's road bridge. Free car parking and good access to the footpath and cycle way that takes you across the Forth. A great experiance as you end up being about 200ft above the River with fantastic views.

Unique and very impressive the Forth Bridge is worth making a detour to see. Whilst there we took the opportunity to take the short 3 minute ride across the bridge by service train from Dalmeny to North Queensferry. Dalmeny station is only about 15 minutes walk from South Queensferry and trains are approximately every 30 minutes. We had a stroll round North Queensferry and then walked back over the Forth Road Bridge for even more stunning views. We took our time & the trip took just over a couple of hours.

This is an amazing place. We took the traina cross from Dalmeny to North Queensferry then walked over the Forth Road Bridge to South Queensferry. A place of beauty

Parking at the car park beyond the shell garage in South Queensferry there is a viewing area (and a little coffee shop). Down the side of the public toilet is a ramp or steps to the start of the walk over the bridge. Enjoy the elevated view over the town, the forth and the Rail Bridge. Admire the love locks at the towers. And if you head all the way over pop down the steps into north Queensferry for a cafe and more bridge vistas.
