This market was one of the best I've ever seen, and I've seen quite a few. So many quality vendors with great Maine products from Belfast and nearby areas -- very talented artisans and food purveyors. There's also a spacious dining area with beautiful harbor views in which you can eat some of the fantastic food you just bought. I got some smoked barbeque mussels from Stonington Coldwater Seafood that were incredible (see photo). And, there were so many free samples of just about everything. This is another great Belfast offering that makes me want to move here.

This was a fun thing to do on our last morning in Belfast. There was a good mixture of food, bakery items, produce and crafts. Plenty of seating and live piano music made it extra enjoyable.

Local Vendors with fresh produce, meats, seafood, bread, cheese, flowers, and other odds and ends (too much to list all). Must do if in Belfast on Saturday morning.

Ok. It may not be produce season but there are still so many reasons to go! I got an amazing apple pie, delicious cheeses and meats and a green witch tincture that I hope will ease some of my neuro pain. Don’t forget to go outside to see Linda and Mike for a burger or a brat.

I have loved this market since Day One, but I'm disappointed that no effort is made to help distance. For instance, the line to the pizza stand was shoulder to shoulder, packed in, with no place to stand. And many were not wearing masks. I love the vendors, but wouldn't want to go back at this time. Bummer.

We had a great time at this farmer’s market. They have a wide variety of items including homemade breads, baked goods, honey, produce, wood products, rugs, flowers and jewelry just to name a few. There are a number of places to buy ready to eat food which you can enjoy in the adjacent dining hall. It’s a wonderful way to savor the culture of a small New England town.

We walked through the market and considered eating lunch in the cafe but we decided to go to a restaurant instead. The prices in the market were very high, much more expensive than in the farmers' markets in the Philadelphia are and in our coops. There was a good selection of organic vegetables, but most items were about triple the cost that I would pay at Hannaford.

This place is so special... My mom found a tart made out of her favorite - tart cherries. I found Cornish pasties on National Cornish pasty day. The breads were perfect. Jams excellent. Lots of samples. My brother bought a beautiful French rolling pin.

I brought a bus group to Belfast Maine last weekend and our first stop on Saturday was the Belfast Farmers Market! We were the First coach bus to stop at the market. Plenty of artisans there, bakers, fish, sausage, jams, jellies sauces, essential oils, vegetables, so much more. I would recommend this as a place to stop!

We visited late on a Saturday morning and ended up having brunch. Wonderful options from all over Maine. There is a nice big room with tables to eat. So many fabulous food options, good for vegetarians as well as carnivores. Prices were reasonable. Also some nice arts and crafts, woodworking, flowers, handmade chocolates. Felt like a good way to get back to Maine farming roots. Highly recommend it!

Is there any parking near by? I am not disabled, but am a senior. I know the new location for Arts in the Park was impossible to get near and I think you are in the same area.
