Walked in on a whim not knowing exactly what we were going to find. We were greeted by not only the most amazing smells but the incredibly friendly staff. They were so helpful and sweet, I honestly felt like I could spend all day talking to them.

If you like olive oil, you must stop and buy some. The flavors are intense. There are so many choices. They also sell wine, a few cheeses and fudge, but go for the olive oil. You can taste them before you purchase and they are not expensive.

We stayed in Boothbay for a week and visited Eventides multiple times, including the day we left to stock up on brownies and cinnamon puffs! The store is beautiful and bright with friendly staff. We had amazing sandwiches and freshly baked bread that was so tasty! My daughter said the brownies were “life changing!” It was awesome and I would highly recommend everyone visit. You won’t be disappointed or hungry!

Lunched on a chicken salad sandwich and a scone. Best scone in town. Fresh and tasty food close the harbor

This rivals specialty markets in big cities. Great wines, amazing breads, wonderful cheeses. One can't say enough. And all the random bits of food, sauce, and serving accessories will equip you for whatever you need. Most important, the people are lovely and are patient and good to our children (and others). This has become our #1 favorite spot in Boothbay.

Lots and lots of products here, almost overwhelming. I enjoyed sampling some of their gourmet vinegars. Nice selection of wines and cheeses.

We were making our semiannual visit to Abacus, an art gallery retail outlet and noticed a few doors down Eventide.
Ann was very informative about the selections available in the store. Vast amounts of olive oils and vinegars were available for tasting on one side of the store. We didn’t make it to the bread and cheese side because of a lunch appointment we had to make.
We will be back for the full exposure the next time we are in Boothbay.

Eventide has been our favorite shop in the Harbor since it opened. We drop in at every trip (one a month or more) to pick up local and imported cheeses (they have an large and excellent Cheese selection!) freshly baked breads, soup, sweet confections. Their wine selection is outstanding and includes wine very easy on the budget as well as rare top quality vintages. If you are into oils and vinegar's, Eventide's selection cannot be beat for many miles around - stop in and taste the bounty at Eventide!
