We have been going here for years and it’s great fun for the entire family. We have an 11 year old and she has a great time! The race track is large and cars are available to rent. Perfect for a cold or rainy day.

Rainy day with nothing to do? Race cars! Great track, great selection of cars, do some shopping for interesting things while there! There is parking! Super fun activity!

I raced slot cars in my youth 50 years ago. This place took me back to my youth in a very good way!
Jeff is a great guy who is very accommodating. He makes you feel right at home in his establishment.
Can’t wait to return!!!

Jeff and Cathy have an awesome business. Both kids and the biggest kid in the house (My boyfriend) enjoy their time racing cars. They are both very helpful and knowledgeable. We've really enjoyed the league also.

We arrived and were the only two people in the store. We paid our $15.00 per person for a half our of track time. We picked our cars, which were loaners. We were showed how to put them on the track, and then left alone. They claim they can time you and you can race. When I asked they said they would, but they were too busy working on a car. They were running it while we used our track time. My daughter kept asking when we were going to race. I asked another question but really felt like I was putting them out. When they came over, I was thinking they were going to start the race clock for us. They never started the clock, they just advised us our time was up. Then as we were leaving, they asked who won. Not a clue who won, we just drove the junky old slot cars they have. Then we’re told our time was up. (One of the cars kept stopping in the same place on the track. How do you race when a car gets stuck on the track). We will not return. So disappointed.

We are certainly saddened to hear that your time spent at Slot Car Junction was so unpleasant. I spoke to the staffers you are referring to and advised everyone to be more attentive to customers particularly on slow days.
However, the other side of the tale indicates a different point of view. My understanding is that your daughter made a point of saying she had a great time racing with you. The nice thing about our six lane track is that we can adjust the voltage to allow children to have an enjoyable time. I understand you requested another car because yours was not performing as expected...let me add that we do not usually switch cars out but since it was not too busy we accommodated your request. Sometimes when the voltage is lowered certain cars will be faster than others...they are not junk.
Again our apologies for any misunderstandings and I would like to offer you the opportunity to return with your daughter for another visit at no charge.
We appreciate your feedback...thanks

Slot Car Junction and Fascination Station - which was always a fabulous and fun place - JUST opened at Merrymeeting Plaza (by Cook’s Corner and in the same shopping center as Shaw’s Supermarket) and it’s nothing short of AMAZING. And HUGE. Along with 3 spectacular tracks (Ninco track = 6 lane 56 feet X 12 feet!; Carrera track = 2 lane 16 feet L-shaped!!; Scalextric Digital track = 2 lanes and 24 feet X 4 feet and able to race up to 6 cars PER LANE!!! In other words, lanes are switchable) Fascination Station features toys and games galore, many of them cutting edge and state-of-the-art. I was blown away with the sheer size and quality of the whole place and you can be sure I’ll be going back. A lot!

Fun place to blow and hour. Bring your slot car or use theirs it is a real throw back to the past but fun for all ages. A great date stop to race for an hour.

wonderful place ---brunswick maine has alot of nice store---interesting sites---the daniel hotel excellent place to stay ---good food ----hospitality was awesome ---very warm friendly place----this is a nice home away from home.

I'm glad we didn't have to wait for a turn with the cars. Our boys, ages 3 to 5 were focused on their cars for an entire hour. The place is clean, the staff is helpful. Great rainy day activity..
