I have been a casual bowler and patron of this establishment for over 25 years. It is well run and is a great example of a beloved local establishment, where folks can recreate and socialize, with an enjoyable competitive dimension blended into the experience. No one would pretend that the snack bar is haute cuisine. I am glad that the independent owners would not cater to a large group of customers that want to impose their demands on this community establishment. Let them drive back to Boston or New York and act out their fantasies somewhere else.

And I don't think I have ever given any place a terrible rating either.
I came to this place with 29 members of my family. All bowling in the alleys, eating at the lousy excuse for a snack bar, and drinking at the bar. We pushed 2 tables together in the lounge so some of us could sit together and were told we couldn't do that. They dug in about this so hard and so rudely that I just left. I will not be treated like that in a public place. This was my first time in this place and it will be my last. I wonder if these people have any idea how many other choices there are around here that would be very happy to have me bring 30 people with all of their money in for a few hours.
