We were not there to ski, but we enjoyed taking the ski lift for a beautiful view of fall foliage on a glorious October day.

I was supposed to go here with an accomplice but they got injured the night before we were supposed to go so I went by myself. The lodge is closed due to COVID-19 so I got ready before I left, got my ticket and hopped on a lift. The first thing I realized is that most of the trails do not have signs telling you how easy or hard they are. However there is a map at the end of both lifts so it wasn’t a problem. There’s only two lifts and both were open when I went. The three person chairlift has a view of the ocean from the top. The green circle trail on that side was closed when I went but you would have to take a blue square to get to it anyway. The 2nd easiest way down was a blue square on the left right next to the loading area for the triple chairlift. The other chairlift was a double chairlift and wooden. Although some reviewers said that it is rickety, I disagree. It is padded, so you are not sitting on the wood and the backs are painted black or grey so I didn’t realize it was wooden until a few runs in. That lift only hand access to three trails. One green circle and 2 blue squares. That side was a lot less icy then the triple chairlift side. However the ice was not miserable. The worst of it was on the flat part right before the parking lot. Speaking of the parking lot, it is dirt so if you are squeamish about dirt, you have been warned. I did not expecting to spend the whole afternoon there like my ticket was for as I do not usually like skiing alone. But I had fun and ended up staying till they closed. I would go again

This may seem like a contradictory review :-)
There was only one lift open and the wait was 15 minutes. There were just 3 trails of man-made snow. Each run took about 90 seconds. We could hardly see the ocean because the lift to the summit was closed.
Still, we had a wonderful time! We generally ski 25 times each winter. Sunday River, Killington, Sugarloaf, Loon, Sugarbush, etc. However, due to COVID-19, we deferred our IKON passes until next year. We were at the Samoset for the week and this was only 20 minutes away. That they had any snow at all was a miracle.
Bought tickets on Liftopia the night before. The staff was great and everyone seemed to be having a great time.

Arrived early and beat the crowd that showed up , filling the parking lot by 12:30pm.
The line for lift tickets and actual ride moved quickly and soon we were on the slow ride up the hill.
Some in our group selected to walk the trails down while others rode the chair.
All in all, a very nice day at Camden Snow Bowl.

The bartender at Sea Dog Brewery recommended we take the chair lift to see the fall foliage at Camden Snow Bowl and it was an awesome experience. 10.00 a person ticket and it was a great way to see the beauty and the foliage. We were able to get some amazing photos!

A wonderful place to ski, with great views of the Penobscot Bay and North Atlantic Ocean. So close to town!

Really enjoy the Snow Bowl. While not the best skier, it is always fun and a great view! I love that you’re able to ride the chair lift in the Fall; it is a must do when I visit my daughter in Camden. I do wish there was tubing available, because the toboggan chute isn’t open daily and we are just a tubing family!

Ski rental over here is such a joke especially with their attitude. Wouldn’t loan me ski boots and had to purchase the whole package yet if you go on the website they do rentals for them. The people selling tickets and at the rentals have absolutely horrible attitudes and no customer service whatsoever with the way they talk and treat customers. Shocking especially seeing that this is a family oriented mountain/establishment. I ultimately got a refund for the rentals and sold my lift tickets. Never coming back again.

We went in Fall and the collage coloring was beautiful! A bit chilly, but nice, and not crowded. Great hiking too!

Go up the chairlift on a Sunday in October for fantastic views of the bay and islands and the beautiful colours of the trees.

The toboggan shute is not covered, but is 400 feet long and runs out onto Hosmer Pond. The sides are about 1 1/2 feet high the entire length of the run. There is a height limit for children. I believe it is 42 inches. You may go to the Snow Bowl web site and see pictures and further description of the run. You will enjoy your visit!
