What can I say? I've had a love of wine for years and traveled quite a bit, and this little shop has an impressive collection. Although the store is located in the middle of a very small town ,the selection could rival one in a larger urban setting. We were greeted by the owner and while we didn't go into the store because of Covid-19 restrictions, we had a great time choosing our wines from a book with their lists of small production wine and beers. The gentleman gave us a few recommendations when we asked and we ended up buying a case of wine. And we get the fun of popping open new and delicious wines over time; we'll be back. The beer we bought is one I've never heard of either, and was satisfying. Cheers, Black Sheep!

would not recommend. The service is not what was expected. Very expensive and over priced as well. needs improvement in location and services .

This is typically Maine - driving in the middle of nowhere and you come across a gourmet top notch wine store with an incredibly knowlageable friendly owner and viola great wine choices.
Stop by if you find yourselves on Mointaun road in Harpswell and you will be delighted.

I find this shop to be such a blessing in the middle of a small island! The gentleman that owns this store has excellent taste in wine and the shop is curated in just such a way that you can find almost any varietal you've got your heart set on. His wife makes wonderful chocolates that he sells in the store too - they're delicious as well!

What a GREAT little wine store, kind of in the middle of nowhere. Excellent selection, although not a lot of each. The prices are higher than what you'd pay on the Internet, but there's no delivery to worry about! Most major wine-producing countries and areas within them are well-represented. Truly a great little gem of a store.

It looks small but the selection and help picking the perfect wine or brew is huge. Not sure what will go with lobster, clams, ribs, anything yummy from Vegetable corner, just ask. Very knowledgeable owners.

Place looks impossibly tiny from the road, yet holds a truly impressive stock. Owner is very friendly and knowledgeable about wine. If you want high end provisions (cheese, crackers, beer, wine) this is the place to get it out on these islands.
