A small gallery, but with quality art displayed in main lobby and down the hall. Exhibit changes every so often. Worth budgeting up to half an hour if you are in the area.

Curator Robyn Holman has been creating outstanding exhibits, primarily focused around Maine artists for years at this gallery that forms the entryway to Lewiston-Auburn College. Her work makes particularly wonderful use of the open space (cathedral ceiling), usually including sculpture or glass enclosed pieces in the middle of the space as well as on the encircling "arms" of the area's walls, making for an emersion sort of experience. Her creativity in theme choices has long been the heart of the college.

If you are going to be in Lewiston Auburn you should stop by this beautiful, light filled space in which excellent presentations by Maine artists in a variety of media show their work. I think it works as well as it does because it exists a a central core of the University of Maine Lewiston-Auburn Campus; not hidden away, but intensely visible to all who will linger and consider the role of art in our lives!
