My fiancé got us Ne-Yo tickets for our first concert together. It was very special for us as Ne-Yo was the first artist we shared in common interest. We got into Aura pretty timely, especially for the amount of people that were there. Once you get in, there is absolutely no direction as to where you go, thankfully a security guard could see my confusion and let us know we could sit anywhere. Multiple drunk people kept blocking everybody in the balcony, getting in peoples face, standing on equipment, kicking and climbing over chairs, and ended up throwing a drink at a security guard and hitting us with it, and they still did not get kicked out. We waited 3 hours for Ne-Yo to come on stage, and when he did he only sang 2 songs. The dj’s were really good, but nobody would tell us what was going on. Multiple people left before Ne-Yo even got on stage. We paid for a concert, ended up getting a Dj performance for 3 hours, some guy I’ve never heard of singing uncomfortable and not good songs, and 10 minutes of what we actually paid for.

Paid to see Neyo in concert and 2 1/2 hours still waiting. Paid good money for a concert, not listen to a dj for 2 plus hours.

Bouncers are over aggressive towards fans. I could’ve been seriously injured do to their lack of responsibility for the role that they were given.
First and foremost the large bouncer in the pit almost ejected me for dancing in a mosh pit at a heavy metal show?? It’s a small venue.. whatever I toned it down a bit.
I proceeded to the bar in the front where all 3 bar tenders, the merch table staff, the staff in the lobby, the staff at the doors, EVERYONE watched me run to the bar and leave with TWO CUPS OF WATER. Because I was dehydrated, make sense right ? I proceed towards the restaurant exit so that I can get some fresh air and drink my water. The unreasonable African American guard at the door tells that I can’t leave the venue with water… (this is a massive concern with music venues, and most don’t do their due diligence making sure water is free and accessible)
I tried to explain to him that all I wanted to do was drink one cup and pour the other on my head to cool off. All I wanted to do was take one step on the sidewalk to cool off but that was clearly not allowed. I asked him could I please step outside and just dump this on my head ? And tells me no! So I dumped the water on my head in the restaurant and motioned for the exit so I could step outside and the worst most unprofessional bouncer comes flying through the restaurant and body checks me out the door and tells me I’m ejected from the venue for trying to HYDRATE…????!!! I obviously had some very unpleasant things to say to him at the time. I followed their advice, went across the street and cooled off. I returned to the main entrance and tried to explain to the door staff the misunderstanding about the water and the blonde spiked hair bouncer with tattoos literally was looking for a fight, came running down the front stairs and body checks me THROUGH the double doors onto the sidewalk giving me a fat lip in the process. This staff member of yours failed at his duty and had no regard for anyones safety. He did not care about the fans or me having a good time. I felt his only motive last night was pain. He wanted me to fight back. Which I didn’t, I left for another 20 minutes and returned to venue for the remainder of the show.

Worst concert venue I've ever been to! I'll give them an A+ for the sound system but the place was so packed that you couldn't move. People well crammed into the stairways trying to see because no one in the upper level could see any of the stage and people were clammed like sardines on the floor! We almost left before the show even started because there was no point staying to hear an artist we couldn't see! We got lucky when a couple moved and we took their spot but then we couldn't move the rest of the night! The place was a death trap! If anything happened, the over-served masses would never have made it out. I don't care who plays there. I'll never go back.

Not a bad seat in the house! Brand new facility and the audio quality is top notch! Would highly recommend seeing your favorite musical artist.

This was my first visit to Aura. It was fabulous!!! The entry was a little confusing to get through security then Will Call and then tge correct area to find our seats. The ticket was marked as General Admission - Balcony. We were guided to climb to the top. I noticed an elevator was available if needed. The band started and didn't stop for over an hour or more for the break. They were fantastic. The setting and set up for the band seemed sufficient. I will be back to this venue soon.

Saw a show here recently and loved this venue. Sat in the upper section and all seats were great. They have a bar and restrooms upstairs. Restrooms are really kept well. Not filthy like most venues. Acoustics are fantastic. Band played until after !2:30 AM so there seem to be no annoying venue curfews.
Bar has Maine Brewing "Lunch" on tap, huge bonus.
Lastly. Doors open ONE Hour before the venue. We stood outside the entrance doorway and waited; a venue staffer suggested we enter thru the bar entrance and have a drink and then enter thru the bar. Wish we had done so because when doors open, the bar patrons are let in first(with a requirement that you actually purchased a drink) and THEN they let in the folks waiting at the main entrance.
Also, I know The Aura offers parking with ticket purchase. I'm not sure whether the city is busier during other times of the year, but there seemed to be a lot of parking options within the city, i.e. don't bother with prepaying for parking.

Smaller and more intimate than we expected. No bad seats. Has become one of our favorite venues. Acoustics good, and easy access. Plenty of parking within walking distance.

Great small and personal venue. Not a bad seat, standing area in the place. Only thing that I didn’t understand and was a little annoyed by was that I wasn’t able to take sealed water bottles out of the venue that my group purchased right before leaving. I guess they have their reasons but kind of ridiculous and petty. Would have given them a 5 if I wasn’t forced to drink the water at the door or throw it away!!!!!

Get balcony. Seats are first come first served. Lower are has almost no seats. You can go frm balcony to lower level (in other words, if you change your mnd and want to go to the floor that's ok) but lower level tickets aren't good for upper level.

We want to go to a concert at Aura but have never been to the venue and I can't seem to pull up a seating chart. Ticketmaster has general admission standard tickets for the floor and balcony only. Are those tickets for seats or maybe only for standing? I've found other tickets for the same performance on June 5 on third party sites, such as Vivid Seats, at higher prices, but I'm not still not sure if those tickets are for specific seats or only general admission. For example, one set of tickets is in "row" GAO. Can someone please explain? Thank you.

They change the seating arrangement per event. I was there twice on St. Patrick’s day weekend, once to see Ann Wilson of Heart which was reserved seating on the floor, and on St. Patrick’s day to see Joshua Tree the U2 cover band reserved seating in the balcony. Some shows like Steel Panther are all general admission no seats on the floor and first come first serve in the balconies. The upper balcony has open floor standing room where the bar is.
Purchase the tickets get in line early and grab some balcony seats. There is not a bad place to see the show in the house. There is a restaurant/ Bar the left of the main entrance you might want to go to so you’re already in the building. They might also let you in before the people lined up in the street. I’m not sure since my tickets were reserved seats so I didn’t have to worry about where I was sitting. Great venue all around good prices a great place to see a show.
