Eric was full of information, answered questions and showed lots of enthusiasm for his town as well as us. He was helpful allowing us to wait inside the Beer Hub till everyone assembled and the van was comfortable. The large screen in the van was helpful & we could all hear well. It was an excellent tour with lots of suggestions for the rest of our day too. Bravo Eric!

Great tour. If you visit Portland, definitely try to take this tour at the beginning of your trip. Totally recommended!

The tour and the guide (Eric) were fantastic! I enjoyed seeing the lighthouses and hearing the stories and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!!!

Portland Explorer is awesome! We took a City & Lighthouse tour and it was scenic, fascinating and super-comfortable. Our host Eric (a co-owner of the business) was among the best guides I've ever enjoyed, and his continuous narration included a ton of little-known facts and stories about the historic City of Portland and the State of Maine. We stopped at three of Portland's many lighthouses, each unique and beautiful in its own way. Ample time was given to wander around, take photos and hear more of Eric's tales. Next time I visit Portland I plan to book another tour - it was *that* good!

Eric was a great guide and local, who is also a history nerd - you can tell how passionate he is about his hometown. Loved the sites he took us through and the rich history we learned about along the way. Great overview of the town and the three lighthouses were the perfect way to round out my week-stay in Portland. Highly recommend!

Great tour and guide. In for a day for a cruise port day. This was a great overview of the local area and historical knowledge. Our guide Eric was courteous, friendly and extremely knowledgeable of the history. Give a go you won't regret it!

Good way to see a lot of the city sights and lighthouses when your time is limited. Guide was very nice and knowledgeable.

We had an excellent tour, and it was full of interesting information! Eric was so knowledgeable about everything and it was easy to make conversation. He was able to answer every question we asked in detail. He went above and beyond what we expected. The lobster rolls and beer were the icing on the cake! Highly recommend!

Just visited Portland Maine a week ago. Eric was our tour guide and he is well-versed in the history of his hometown. Had a great time visiting with him and seeing the sights of Portland. The tour van was very comfortable and had a "homey" feel to it. Met some nice folks from Baltimore. The highlight of the tour is the breath-taking view of the Portland Headlight lighthouse. Beautiful! Definitely recommend.
