This store had areas laid out with different themes, which was nice. They had higher end gifts and things. I will add that it was one of the first shops we stopped at and I bought a stuffed animal (lobster) for my daughter. The same item was much cheaper at the souvenir shop down the road. It may be a good idea to wander a bit before committing to souvenirs, but they have a lot of items we didn't see anywhere else in town that were super cute.

We have found that The Seagull Cottage is the perfect place to find unique gifts for that special person.

At first I thought this would be a run-of-the-mill 'cottage' gift shop, but I was very impressed with all the creative and unique items. There are whole sections or nooks that are not only related to seagull cottage or house decor, but also mermaids, seashells, lobsters, ships, lighthouses, and other nautical themes, as well as a section filled with Christmas items. The store is filled with wonderful things to look at, yet is well organized and spacious. It's one of the few shops that I actually found four or five unique items that I really wanted to buy, like an antique-looking lobster clock and a 'welcome' slate painted with a mermaid who resembles Botticelli's Venus. Excellent service, very reasonable prices.

I shop here often for lovely gifts (and occasionally for me). Enchanting, unique, such lovely items and the goods are always changing. If you visit Rockland don't miss it--it is truly one of a kind.

We visited this store on vacation and found many treasures and gifts. The owner was outstanding with help, local information and even helped with obtaining a lobster trap buoy. The store is amazing to find something for everyone!!

Spend some time looking around. Purchased a "Danielle Design" framed mermaid theme glass - awesome! btw, made the trip home, in carryon safely! If Connie can't answer your questions or give you advice - then no one can. Take some time to look around.. things are in plain sight and treasures can be found. Thanks Connie!

This is a charming shop where you can find unique finds for beach and sea themed items. Ranging from vintage to contemporary, you will be able to find whatever you're looking for to create that special "beach" room. Well worth taking your time to browse in this special shop.,

This store is by far our favorite store in Rockland!! We must have spent an hour in here, looking at every item in every nook and cranny. If you’re looking for a very unique gift of the “beach” variety, come here!

what a lovely shop so many unique items we must have spent an hour just browsing of course I bought a lot also went back next morning before leaving for home and bought more great xmas gifts if in the area check it out glad I did.
