The mountain climb itself is quite winding and with beautiful views, but if the weather is hidden you can see absolutely nothing.
When we went the road was with good visibility, but on the mirante at the top of the road nothing was seen, which was a pity, because it would be the high point of the crossing.

Very nice place. Impressive landscapes with some viewpoints, waterfalls and wildlife. Very busy road being necessary to drive with a lot of attention.

Beautiful and accessible place! The Serra viewing park is beautiful! With trail, beautiful view and infinite swing. The entrance costs 30 reais per person, it is worth it.

For those who love nature and like driving. If you have the opportunity, go visit this place. The road is beautiful.. it's quiet at night.. just be careful on the hills when you're behind trucks.. there's always one in a hurry..

Olá, em Urubici tem várias hospedagens do tipo cabana, que ficam normalmente em locais altos com uma vista linda, então recomendo buscar algo do tipo, pois tem todo o aparato de um hotel mas com a privacidade e experiência de acordar com vista para as serras e vales da região.

Olá, Alguem tem um trajeto pela BR101 até serra do Rio do Rastro sem passar por dentro dos grandes centros? exemplo: sem passar por dentro do Rio de Janeiro sentido ponte Rio/Niterói.

Se vem do nordeste, tanto no Rio quanto em São Paulo dá pra passar por fora, pelo contorno rodoviário. Idem em Curitiba. Desce a 101 até altura de Laguna e atravessa a ponte em direção a Bom Jardim da Serra. Cuidado com chuva porque a subida da serra pode ser fechada. O waze ajuda bem!
