Lovely little State Park with gorgeous views of the bay. A few nice hiking paths through the wooded area. A good spot for picnicking or just relaxing with family and friends. Nice clean bathrooms and friendly staff also!

This state park was an estate left to the park system for preservation. It is nicely landscaped with plenty of parking. There are wooden steps to a vast rocky beach. it is a great place to explore tide pools. This is a small park that is just right for kids to get out and run around. There are some trails which help explore the area. There is a slight admission fee but it is good for the whole day if you want to return.

Nice place for a hike or picnic. You will be charged to enter, I believe it was $3 per person. Nice water views and not too strenuous hiking paths.

What a lovely park to come upon! We spent the afternoon by the water. Considering the rocky terraine, bringing chairs is advised. There were no crowds, the ocean front was clean and it made for a simply delightful time!

Just wanted to take a breather while visiting the Belfast area. This is a really nice park -- walking trails, picnic tables, great views. Easy access off Route One.

We drove into this state park on a whim, discovered we qualified for free admission. Very nice water front views, picnic areas and wooded walks. Was at crowded. Take a picnic and enjoy the views. Real Maine.

A beautiful and serene area to sit and enjoy the water and “beach”. Easy access right off route 1 and not far from Belfast.

The beach such as it is, is stony, but the atmosphere is really nice. A little oasis along the road. It’s a tad expensive to access for what is there, but nice trails and spots to just sit and soak up the sea air.

9am till dusk usually. This year there have been budget cuts that are affecting the functionality of all of our parks. This in turn has caused the parks to be short staffed which could cause them to close earlier than in past years.

It's not the best beach for swimming- extremely rocky
A better swimming spot would be ducktrap beach in lincolnville
