A beautiful, secluded beach, not crowded at all with calm cool waters. The Beach itself is more gravel than sand, but there are bathrooms and lots of shade and playgrounds for the Littles. It was a beautiful and relaxing place.

Away from the main roads and snuggled in among trees is this lovely park perfect for summertime, daytime getaways. Plentiful parking, loads of picnic tables with grills all over the park, two great playgrounds, hiking trails, well cared for restrooms/changing areas, and a fair-sized beach area with lifeguards on Swan Lake make this a desirable destination for everyone. Paddle boats are available for rent at a reasonable price. There is an entrance fee. It is one of the most relaxing areas around!

This beautiful, and very under used park, is perfect for all ages. There is a lot of shade very close to the beach which makes it great to keep an eye on the kids while being comfortable. There are dozens of picnic tables with grills spaced along the beach and in the woods. There is a group site. Changing rooms and bathrooms. Dogs are allowed, but not on the beach....BUT there is a “Doggie Beach” in a secluded area with its own picnic table and a bench. Parking area is adequate. The walk to the beach is fairly long, but easy walking and ok to wheel a cart. There is a lifeguard on duty. The whole park is clean and has a nice family feel.
