We were passing through Union after an morning and early afternoon of shopping at Beth's and visiting wineries. We were mourning the retirement of our favorite wood worker and furniture maker in Union and saw a sign for this market. Even though the trunk was filled with garlic, cabbages and squash, we still found things to purchase here. Very nice to talk with the very friendly vendors/farmers. A great find.

I love this farmer's market. The selection and variety is very good and there is always something entertaining (music, or a demonstration of something related to farming).

Fabulous Farmer's Market!
Easy drive to location, route 17 then follow sign to market.
Located in Union Common, next to the Post Office.
I was so pleased I stopped in. I frequent farmer's markets to buy fresh produce, bread, fruit, cheese, honey, and all kinds of healthy food. This market is at the top of my list; easily the best in mid-coast Maine.

I wasn't really expecting much during my visit, maybe just a vendor or two, but the farmers market was so vibrant and well organized! You can pick up all sorts of food, groceries, and even homemade pizza!
