Quaint spot right off the road to our cottage. Stopped to check it out after our day travelling the Damariscotta Coast. Having never been the owners were just so welcoming. They set us up and provided a shady spot in the yard for us to relax & unwind. Man provided the complete set up and was the perfect host. Glasses, ice bucket, cheese and crackers and very cordial conversation . In fact, he provided 2 restaurants that we ate it this week. Wicked Good and most appreciative hosts!

I didn't find that there was a lot to choose from, except for wine -- hundreds of wines, Not much in cheese or oysters, at least when I went, maybe because it was nearing the end of the season. Some canned goods, jams, and so on that you could find anywhere in the region. The little they had in kitchenware, etc. was average.

Really nice people and nice place for kitchen and craft items. They also have a nice selection of wines and oysters.
The only bummer is, their sign says they sell antiques, but the true antiques they have are not for sale
So if you are antique shopping try the other places in the area, but if looking for new glass, kitchen, kids and other country things they have a nice selection.

When you need a gift and have no idea what to get, you will find it here! They offer a selection of quality household-ish items as well as cheese and wine. Worth a stop and a look!

Starting going there a few years ago and still stop in. The owners are very interesting and knowledgeable about what they carry. Great oysters, cheeses and a great and I mean great selection of wines. Plus unique gifts. A must stop if in the area.

We have made this a regular stop our last three Maine trips. If you are wanting to do some shopping it's worth it. If you are wanting a great little shop with friendly owners. Stop. We love it for the wine selection and boy does he know his wines!!!! From really good wines at a reasonable price to more expensive ones... he has them all. We'll probably have to make a second stop this trip! 🍷🍷🍷

My only regret is not stopping in earlier in our trip. The owners are super nice and very willing to give you local recommendations (Coveside and Botanical Gardens) but also their products. They have a ton of local Maine and seaside gifts, wines and eateries. Lots of neat items and definitely worth the visit.

What a great place! Warren and Deb have a wonderful shop with all kinds of goods and goodies that hit the spot. There is something for everyone including kitchenware and accessories, decorative objects, games and books, all kinds of things for the kids, jams, jellies and coffee and great wines! and beer. I can't even list all the things they have. You will find it all!

When on the Pemaquid Peninsula make the Walpole Barn a Must Visit. A great selection of wines, cheeses, snacks, sausage, beers and arts and crafts will leave you asking for more. Owner Warren will top off your shopping with tales both tall and small. The occasional wine tasting on the Barn's lovely grounds is a can't miss.
