On a Sunday sunny afternoon, the tasting room and patio were practically empty. They didn't offer flights (even though I had been told on the phone that they did). They said the dishwasher was broken and couldn't handle small glassware. I had the Nitro Gunner's Daughter Stout and the brown ale, which were both good, especially the stout. The front tasting room is large with a high ceiling and a few long tables -- no ambiance at all. The back tasting room was closed off for some reason (maybe COVID, maybe not enough of a crowd to open it?), and that had much more atmosphere. They did have a large variety of their beers on tap, unlike some other Portland breweries.

Really nice space- plenty of indoor seating and a lovely outdoor space. Stopped in after shopping in Freeport. They have 10 and 16 oz beer, no flights. Had the "A Beer named DUCK", nice pale ale with plenty for flavor. Pina Colada, Slightly Raddled and Saccarappa the adult kids liked them all. The nice surprise of the day was the NightHawks Kitchen food truck..... the QR code is at the table, you order and it was delivered to the table. The BBQ pulled Jack Fruit sandwich was unbelievable - juicy, tasty, juicy and filling - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

It’s unfortunate because they actually have great beers, however a poor customer experience. Felt like we were being babysit while I kept seeing staff members stare out to the patio. I went for a 3rd pour of a 10oz drink and was asked is this your last? Felt like I was being rushed to leave. No flights, so you can’t try a number of beers. Also, no dogs!? The customer experience needs to be way better here. Very disappointed!

We checked their website-closed at 8:00. Arrived at 7:29 to find a sign stating “patio seating closes at 7:30.” Waited for server to come to the counter (outside). Wouldn’t allow us to sit for one beer. Poor customer service. We were here two years ago and really liked it. We will never go back. We will never purchase their products either. Hope their “better than thou” attitude sustains them.

Best brewery around. Best IPA selection . coolest staff. They go above and beyond. Jason and Leah are incredible

Hey Mast Landing, just wanted to let you know that breweries in the state of Maine are in fact allowed to have dogs, at least on the patios! Most of the breweries in Maine that have patios actually have water bowls for them and everything! If you don't like dogs (Satan??) just don't blame it on the state because Maine is actually pretty great! We stopped by briefly and you lost at least 4 customers during this time who had dogs. We love your beer so we were just disappointed we couldn't try it on site

Mast Landing is a little 'out of the way' compared to the location of the other clumps of breweries in the Portland area, but definitely worth a visit. The beers are very good, ranging from sours to stouts. The taproom inside is spacious and relaxed, and parking is easy. A definite stop if you're narrowing down breweries to visit!

This brewery is near our home and we enjoy sampling the many different varies of locally brewed beer. I prefer the stouts while wife likes IPA's. This was our first time and I got a flight of four beers, I like to taste the differences. All great stuff and we will return. Only minor issue we have is that we'd like some light food to be available. It's probably a different license for serving food, but having some light food would let me relax and enjoy more of their beer.
