Bethesda Row includes some of my favorite stores (Anthropologie—three floors!, Terrain, Paper Source, Madewell) as well as some lovely food offerings (Fish Taco, Tatte, Maman, Mamma Lucia, Jeni’s ice cream)

This is a nice pedestrian friendly row of shops and restaurants. You can get a snack, a full meal, gelato and a wide variety of cuisine options. It is also a great place for people-watching.

We went to Bethesda Row for lunch and ended up walking around the area. There are MANY shops and we especially enjoyed the pop-up market that included local vendors. An unexpected surprise was Georgetown Cupcakes so we had to stop there too. Many opens for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

This was a fun excursion if you are looking to do something outside of Washington DC’s museums. It was a 20 minute walk from the American Inn, and it was easy to navigate.
There are lots of restaurants and shops to check out, and it will give you something to do for a few hours.

So for the area this is a cute place. Lots of different restaurants and shops to buy stuff. Whether you want ice cream, a full meal or maybe browse the Amazon books store there are plenty of things here to keep you busy.

This pedestrian row is fantastic as you can enjoy the window shopping without the noise and pollution form cars
You can dit on couple of public chair
Some shops are better than other. Unfortunately there are some empty spots with closed restaurant.
The place is very small and it does take long to visit.
