“Nice wooded park for young kids”

Fun morning outing with 3yo

Great spot! We brought our 3yo, rode the train and played on the playground. A good bit if the playground was closed and under construction, but there were still sone structures open and we had fun!

Good spot for 1-3 hours

Went on a short walk to see the park setup before bringing my kids along. Several parking locations throughout the park. Nearby restaurants and stores are convenient for snacks or meals. Outdoor playground and miniature train available for the kids. Not a lot of tables if you’re looking for table top picnics

Good parking and clean paths.

Nice friendly place with lots of green spaces ad neat clean walkways. Location is easy to get to and parking is adequate.

Garbage service

Terrible way to treat paying customers. No clear sign was noted that for paper tickets we needed to “check in”. After waiting half an hour for the train to arrive was told by the staff to visit the other booth. We arrived at 2 pm and was told that they could “accommodate” us at 5 pm. LOL. Ridiculous, nobody is waiting for 3 hours to take a train when plenty of availability was there. Add to that no clear instructions on the website either. Terrible customer service and rude staff. Would give zero stars if I could.

Amazing Breathtaking

It is one the most spectacular place in Maryland. An amazing place especially during autumn and spring where you can kayak, walk, run, bike or just listen the nature. Just go and you will be surprised that there is a heaven in the city

If you have young kids, just go

When my kids were young this was referred to as Big Red because they had a giant red sliding board though I think that is under repair now. Take your kids outside and let them run around. Then hop on the miniature train.

Great Shaded Park!!

I have been coming here for over 40 years and loved to taking my children here and now my grandchildren. This park has a nice playground for children of all ages which has change over the years but still a great place. My kids favorite was the talking pig trash can that is still working much to the enjoyment of the little ones. There is even a play area for dogs. Also you can't forget the ice skating rink, which is accessed by a separate entrance but still part of the park.

Great Park

The Cabin John Regional Park is a very fun place. There is so many things to do . It is a huge park for younger kids, older kids,parents, and dogs. It is amazing.

Great park and love the train

The train that runs in the park is amazing and great experience for the family. As for the playground it is pretty good also and it is a large area with dog park also.
