I have been enjoying many weekends at Jonas Green Park where Paddle or Pedal has a location. Kevin and Tyler are terrific ambassadors for Paddle or Pedal. They offer kayak and SUP rentals here. I have been renting SUP for quiet time on the water. This location is not for the beginner as it can be very wavy. However, if you don’t mind falling off your board, by all means come on out and try this location! I have been having a blast and have fallen in several times this summer. ☀️

This is a review for the location at Quiet Waters.
Our family planned to bike in the morning then kayak in the afternoon. Since we flew in, we needed to rent both bikes and kayaks.
I would not recommend the bikes. There were only 4 to choose from and one of them was a tandem.
None of the gears worked on the bikes and they seemed to be stuck in the hardest gear so it was very difficult (to impossible at times) to ride up hills.
The kayaks, on the other hand, were plentiful. We had great fun!
The staff was very helpful getting us into the water from the "launching" area (I'll call it).
This was my first time kayaking and it was very easy to learn. We also had a 16 year old and an 11 year old with us who both enjoyed it and had no trouble.
Life jackets are provided.

FIRST... I think the name of the place has changed but it's still in the same location. The people working there seemed kind of disorganized but once we got past the paperwork, we had a great time.
I took my 6-year old out in a two-person kayak and we explored the grassy rivers and streams nearby.
We both had a blast and it only cost us $15 for an hour (with $5 off military discount).
Equipment worked great.

Very nice,beautiful weather, we enjoyed our paddleboat ride. Also saved some money with a coupon for this from Chesapeake Beach Resort.

This is great fun couple of hours highlighted by a lovely stroll thru Quiet Waters county park to reach the dock. Staff are helpful for 1st timers and they offer many aquatic modes of float. Paddleboards, kayaks, canoes, pedal boats, sunfish etc. All nicely priced and in great condition. Lessons too for the less daring. The waters are indeed quiet and friendly - it's a nice way to spend some time on the water.

My husband and I took our daughter and two of her friends for a relaxing paddle in Chesapeake Beach. The three 12 year olds all wanted to try the Paddle Boarding. My husband and I chose a double kayak. Everyone had a great time. The girls loved the paddle boarding and Fishing Creek was a great place for novices. The waters are calm and there are not a great deal of other folks on the water. We were able to kayak with the girls and make sure everyone was doing well. The staff were helpful and gave enough instruction for everyone to be safe and understand the basics. Staff also helped everyone in and out of the water and helped to get the boards and kayak in and out. We will definitely go back!
