I have the wonderful opportunity to play on turf and my team and I had to play a lacrosse game on field D and on that particular day it was gator day. but my experience was absolutely terrible the teams had terrible sportsmanship the fields where horrendous I am a goalie and the crease has sticky mud in it the grass was patchy and long the lines where crazy if the other goalie and I walked to meet up in the center i would not even be close the line that is supposed to be in the middle of the field was more towards the right of the field there was a person flying a drone relatively low and everyone had to duck one of the moms complained about the parents on the sidelines no where to warm up and all around my whole experience was terrible and unbelievably bad my coach also made a comment saying that the coach was yelling at her because one of our girls was pushing and should have gotten a red card which that should never come out of a coaches mouth and their referees where absolutely bias. again absolutely terrible

Did a family trip to Davidsonville Park. Very nice, level walking path, perfect for kids learning to ride a bike. The playground was small and had three problems. First, there was some very inappropriate graffiti on the playground equipment. Second, there was a lot of standing water in the playground. Third, there was trash spread across the playground area. Although it was the weekend, the county should invest to keep this park clean.

Davidsonville Park has evolved more into a sports park over the years, now "sporting" numerous football, soccer, lacrosse and baseball fields. Many of those were once scenic fields with wildflowers and such things, but such is progress. The fields are quite good though turf suffers on a couple of the soccer fields and the newest is a bit domed. There is a nice playground to the left of the entrance. A paved path for walking/biking/skating runs the periphery of the park with a few detours. There are also 2 ponds that feature wildlife including lots of turtles and the occassional heron (walk quietly). There is also a canoe put-in but the walk is a bit long from the parking area.
