We stopped in and the staff was so helpful with suggestions. I gave truffles to a lot of my family and they all said it was beyond delicious! I would def stop in again!

This shop is located in beautiful down town Old Ellicott City close to many quaint businesses. You can stroll the streets for many otions to shop or eat.

This is a find. Absolutely delish. The skill and care in the fine art of chocolate making is evident. We enjoyed the Honeycomb and the salted caramel. Best we ever had.

Sweet Cascade is a tasty pleasure with lots of interesting choices. We spent more than we anticipated and really enjoyed the blood orange chocolates. Their chocolate tastes freshly made and will melt quickly so be careful if it is a hot day. It is a nice welcoming little store to visit while walking around historic Elliott City. It took a while but Elliott City has thankfully come back from the flood.

You never know what's going to catch your eye when you're walking around Main Street. When my wife decided she wanted some cake, I knew I wanted to check out Sweet Cascades. This little shop has a display case full of chocolates and assorted treats. Nothing approaching cake, but they did have chocolate-dipped twinkies and oatmeal pies. We did opt for the latter and it was just as rich and tasty and decadent as it sounds.
The real star of this place is the beautiful rear deck, a tiny hidden nook of an oasis hidden away from the hustle and bustle. It sits right on top of the river, with greenery crawling up the rustic buildings embracing you as you sit and enjoy your treat. And it is as much a treat as anything you pick out of their case.

I loved to go here and buy something new every time. And I'd always stock up on buckeyes, mmmmm.....really can't wait for them to come back, I miss them!

I just love this candy shop, and the owners, Sue and Rick, are just wonderful, with great personalities and very helpful. I live in the area, and every time I go down to old town Ellicott City on Main Street, I MUST stop by to buy my regular order - a dozen dark chocolate truffles! They have the best dark chocolate truffles ever! I try to make them last long enough till I can make another trip down to Main Street for more. Aside from those, just about every single thing in there is delicious; it's tough to choose - you can't go wrong. I recommend this shop with no reservations! They also ship, should you want to send a gift to someone.

This is not your usual chocolate shop. There is something here for all tastes and ages. The delicious chocolates are all handmade and covered with the finest chocolate. The truffles come in unusual flavors like wasabi and lavender. There are many chocolate crabs and items with Old Bay seasoning (a nod to Maryland). All sorts of things are dipped in chocolate like jalapenos and Doritos. There is certainly something for everyone. You can even take a chocolate class there or bring in a wine bottle to be dipped in chocolate and beautifully decorated for a gift. The shop itself in Old Ellicott city is quaint and the owners are friendly no matter how busy the day.
