Joined my daughter for the live performance of Winnie the Pooh, and enjoyed every minute. The kids in the audience clapped and laughed the entire time. I'll confess that Winnie stole the show for me-excellent! The theater sponsored a petting zoo in front of the show. Piglet and Rabbit joined for a picture with a pig and rabbit.

Been here so many times. Wonderful performances for the kids. Timing is just right. They really have the tailored kids performances down.

How fortunate we are to have the Adventure Theatre in Glen Echo. I have attended many, any performances and have not been disappointed. A wonderful outing for parents and children and their friends. Highly recommended.

I have never seen such an effervescent production of Jack and the Beanstalk. Went to see my grandson and others in his acting camp and was wowed by their abilities and the professional, caring instructors. The play was tailored for all to enjoy and benefit from. The theater is part of a combination park, carousel, art shops, picnic areas that afford a fun-filled day's activities. Before going, however, check what is open. Some shops are only open after 1, other are closed different days of the week. The only snag was the closure of the Clara Barton House. If you are interested in seeing this, best to check its specific web site.

We recently took a group of six (including a pre-teen and teenager) to see an original play on a Saturday evening. Seating is open, with center and side sections each containing eight rows of benches. The show was very family-friendly, but all in our party had a good time. We sat on a side and had clear visibility to everything happening on the stage. The acting quality in the show was great, and the roles were well cast. We look forward to returning again during the summer when we can take full advantage of Glen Echo Park.

Mrs Too and I saw the Adventure Theater Performance of “Oliver, the Musical” and were absolutely dazzled by the experience. Produced in the 400 seat Round House Theater in nearby Bethesda, the play unfolds with increasingly impressive instrumental music, dancing, acting, and singing.
As gripping as was the show on stage, what awed us the most was the marvelous job done by the pianist, who demonstrated both musical excellence and dramatic perfection. No Broadway pit orchestra could have provided a better background or accompaniment.
We were altogether enthralled and cannot praise the work of this semi-professional community theater company too highly. Check their website for current and future presentations and various venues.

Everything about this children's theatre is great- good acting, sets, vision, size. We try to always take our young grandchildren when we come into town.

What a wonderful, cultural family experience. It is an excellent introduction for children to see theater. We saw Goodnight Moon ( 55 min show) and my little ones didn't miss a beat. We are truly looking forward to The Twelve Days of Christmas.
