Clean theatre but I was unable to purchase any snacks!! They only had one register open, no cooked food and the line was so long for popcorn!!

This is our favorite movie theater in the area because it has the best seats! They're recliner style, comfortable, and not as worn out as some of the other theaters. Their popcorn is pretty typical salty, buttery movie theater popcorn. The soda fountain Coke actually tastes good too, which is nice.

Last night we went to a preview screening of the “Downton Abbey – A New Era” movie at the Cinemark Egyptian theater as guests of the Sun Insider. What a treat it was for us! The #11 theater was large with really comfortable reclining seats and tray tables. The movie was spectacular. If you are a fan of Downton Abbey, you will really like this movie. The acting, the sets, the story line, and the costumes were amazing. We were struck by how everyone upstairs and downstairs was included in the story line. You felt vested in each and every cast member. Maggie Smith knows how to steal every scene she is in. Bring your tissues! The only complaint we had was the volume – it was way too loud.

We decided to see a movie the first one in a few years and this was a great theater to get back into it. The luxury recliners are very nice and have a little tray the moves to put your food and drink on. The concession area is set up a little strange if you’ve never been you wouldn’t know that if you don’t want popcorn you don’t need to wait in the line and can walk around to grab a drink. They also have Pizza Hut pizza, desserts, plus some nachos in a grab and go section. We loved the self ticketing screens and the workers we interacted with were friendly. The womens bathroom I used was clean and stocked. The mens bathroom was not stocked with paper towels but clean.

If you have never experienced a movie while luxuriating in the new stadium seating, you do not know what you are missing. But you are missing it!!!!!!!! The seats are huge and super comfortable and you think you are the only one there. Gone are the days of being crammed in like a sardine and having someone kicking your seat like on a plane flight.

My wife and daughter bought tickets to see a movie. I came after work (late, after show start time) to join them. Told by guest services that they could not sell me a ticket to a show that already started (-lie ... truth, too lazy to figure out a way to offer good customer service). I then purchased a ticket to a different show and attempted to join my wife and daughter. No surprise, the evil Guest services lady actually called their ticket collectors to make sure I went to the movie I paid for lol. Obviously nothing better to do. Any way, needless to say 1 unhappy daughter, and 1 paying customer who will never return. Shame on them for keeping families apart from each other.

Great movie theatre been here a ton of times. Only problem I have with it is the concession prices are really high. I understand it's because it's at a premium spot in the mall but snacks should not cost more than a ticket to the movie. 16 bucks for the movie for the two of us but 25 for snacks.

Movie date with 2 grandsons to see Frozen 2. Movie tickets purchased in advance. Quick to get printed ticket from counter. No lines. Concession lines moved we quickly. Popcorn was okay. Yet, the prices are on the high end. Bring your wallet.
Restrooms were clean. Fully supplied
Theater area was clean. Lounge seating was comfortable. Sound was played at acceptable level.
Would recommend. This theater is located within the Arundel Mills Mall so dont wait to the last minute as parking does fill up quickly. After the movies, you can take in dinner and shopping

We were invited to an advance screening of the movie “Harriet” by The Baltimore Sun. The Cinemark Egyptian Theatre is so inviting. You think you have set foot in Egypt. The whole inside and outside décor of the theatre is Egyptian with columns, statues, murals, etc. Once inside, you are brought quickly to this century. It is modern with all the latest technology. The seats are lounge recliners with a tray that you can have right in front of you for your snacks & drinks. We found the lounge recliners not to be that comfortable - the head rest did not seem to adjust when you rose the feet of the lounger. The theatre was large with several levels of seating. They have a state of the art sound system that about blew us out of our seats. The sound was way too high for us. I really don’t know why theatres think they have to play everything so loud. In spite of all that, we did enjoy the movie.

This movie multiplex continues to be a top place for movie viewing. Always plenty of parking, multiple ways to buy tickets, friendly employees, super comfortable reclining seats with fully adjustable footrests and a moveable snack tray makes for a great viewing experience. If you didn’t have to sit through the. barrage of upcoming movie previews, it would be just about perfect.

Can anyone give me more details about the 2hrs I'll spend in the seat? Recliners, arms rests for 2, leg room, wide seats, stadium seating, head rests?
Snowden Square is my go-to theater (wide seats & stadium seating so no one's head is in the way). We'll go to Columbia Mall if we have a coupon (mycokerewards). I hear the Egyptian is great & read a lot of reviews saying it's pretty, clean, lots of food choices, comfy seating.
Just curious because everyone says it's fantastic. Thanks!!

The seats do recline a little but are very comfy. Leg room is big enough to where you do not have to scrunch in your legs for anyone to pass through. The seats maily depend on how tall you are. If you are shorter, try to sit closer to the bottom. The food is amazing! My personal favorite is the chicken tenders and fries. Seasoned wedges are the best. They also have a ice cream section and believe me the scoops are over sized lol I give this movie theater a 5 star ❤
