Ferry Park Beach is a great resource for both community members and visitors. The relatively small strand of well maintained sand is protected by rock jetties and looks out over a wide expanse of the Chesapeake Bay. There is a board walk with seating to take in the view. A pleasant time for contemplation.

When I was a child I loved riding my bike to the "Ferry Park." The sunsets were spectacular. The "Bay" was an integral part of all our lives. My cousin and I would wade and swim really far out with dipnets in hand and look for "doublers." By the time the water was up to my neck I was ready to return to shore. When I returned to the sandy beach I would stand and gaze far into the distance to try to envision any object past the horizon. I watched the Bay Bridge being built and always wondered where the sailboats would go when they "fell off the edge" of the earth way past the sunset. I will always hold the "Public Beach" in my memory. It is a beautiful place deep in my heart.

Stayed in the area and was looking for a bit of sand to walk in... definitely this cute this beach fit the bill. It was cold and windy the day we visited but I would think it is the perfect little spot on a hot day to take a swim.

Not much here really. It's a small beach. Wasn't busy at all in March, but in the summer I bet it is packed. I was told there is a pirate festival sometime over the summer here. My kids had some fun climbing on the water break rocks.

This was a quiet, hidden place in a quiet town. An easy walk from where we stayed, it gave us a chance to view the Bay and relax. Also one of the only two beaches we could find in the county.

Went to Rock Hall just get away for a weekend and didn't even know this "beach" was out there. It was nice to get in the water but it is far from a beach. Sand, yes, along with the mix of river rock, twigs, and misc. other things you don't really feel like stepping on and being poked in your foot. Overall, just nice to relax and be out near the water but not quite beach material.

This is a nice local beach that doesn't get too crowded. The sunsets are hard to beat! You can also see the Bay Bridge and watch sailboats, motorboats and jet skis go by as you take in the sun. A plus is that the beach is shallow, and because there are three breakwaters, the surf doesn't get rough. We especially enjoyed going at high tide!

More of a lagoon, very calm relaxing little beach. Rarely crowded except on Pirates and Wenches weekend. Great place to enjoy a sunset.

Took my Autistic son to this beach...He had a wonderful time and it was great all the way around as I felt it was safe to watch him from the bench. He was thrilled to be able to see the Bay Bridge in the distance.

This is an adorable little beach in Rock Hall Maryland. We spent half an hour there, it’s really just a narrow strip of sand but quite lovely. Couldn’t possibly give it five stars, but it was clean, you could watch the sunset, many many benches.
