Thank you for your inquiry. You can spend as little as a couple of hours or two full days exploring the Museum's 12 exhibition buildings and grounds, including the 1879 Hooper Strait Lighthouse. General admission is good for two days also. Lighthouse tours are generally self-guided, although we do have docent volunteers at the welcome center and on campus to share our knowledge.

That's a great question! We've never counted but in total there are four flights of steps to the top. The inside steps are spiral, taking you from the first and second floors all the way to the fresnel lens and deck up top. They aren't necessarily any steeper, however, than normal steps.
