We bought a platter from the St Michael's location in June. The platter arrived broken and we've attempted to have the store ship a new one. The process started out positive and it sounded like they were going to ship a new one. They've now gone dark. I've now disputed the charge on my credit card for both the item and the shipping costs.

There are two American holiday stores on Talbot street. The one in the main stretch of town has a lot of decor items-pillows, candles and plates. The one near Graul’s market is mostly furniture. Both stores are cute, but the woman running the furniture store looks at those who enter like she’s assessing if they can afford the stuff in the store.

I was visiting St. Michael's on a day trip with a friend and we found this cute little shop! There were a lot of nice things but I fell in love with the candles. I bought a Fig & Redwood scented candle and as soon as I got home I lit that candle! It smells sooooooo good! They had these cute little ducks wearing rain boots that my friend fell in love with. This store had a lot of unique things to purchase. It's definitely worth a stop!

If I were to come back and visit just one shop in St. Michaels, American/Holiday would be it! The buyer has put some thought into the selections, making the offerings interesting and diverse while also focusing on quality. I especially loved the table linens and picked up some quality casual napkins that I haven't seen anywhere else. The napkins have already been through the wash twice and feel and look brand new.

I Have a list of shops that I visit every time I come to St. Michael's and this is one of them.....this shop is HUGE but looks small from the street....don't be fooled.....you will want to buy everything in here!!!

We had a great experience a few weeks ago and wandered by the sidewalk sale. I found some amazing items and bought 2 unbelievably priced pool cover-ups. There are very quirky, cool gift items that you'll want to keep for yourself. The gentlemen running the store were most helpful in directing us to the best lunch (C-Street Saloon-outstanding too!) They let us know they're opening a Georgetown Store too. Well done guys-will be back in September!

They pegged it! Not just a store, but an awesome retail experience. American Holiday is a must visit whether you're a tourist or local to the St. Michael's scene.

American Holiday has a unique collection--not the typical gift mart items that are found across the country in mass. It's got a very sophisticated yet fun vibe and the only way they can improve the shop is to offer a greater selection of their fabulous home goods, fashion and accessories. It is by far the best place to spend your time shopping in quaint St. Michaels. Impossible to leave without finding something special to give as a gift or take home for yourself.
