Brought my Montana cousins to introduce them to some Maryland sailing. We all had a terrific time. Beautiful scenery. Relaxing time on the water. Completely chilled out. Josh and Carmelitta were perfect hosts to make sure we were comfortable and introduced us all to the pure joy and excitement of sailing. Had a blast. Highly recommend. Would love to take another cruise.

We took a two week vacation for our 35th anniversary and the sailboat ride was the absolute highlight!! Josh and Carmeletta are very knowledgeable about the area and they are very fun!! The communication prior to our trip was professional and helpful! They took pictures during our sailboat ride and sent them to us afterwards along with a map of the route we took! Awesome! Currently, I have bad knees but Josh and Carmeletta were very sensitive and caring. Josh had steps for me and even helped me along the way. We had the best time! We are still talking about it! We plan to go to that area again just so we can take another sailboat ride! Next time we are hoping to bring the kids and grandkids! Thanks Josh and Carmeletta! You are awesome!

Amazing sailing experience! Our captains Josh and Carmeletta were extremely accommodating, helpful, answered our emails promptly and were THE best hosts for the 2 hour sail we did around the bay. From initial contact, to follow up emails, to meeting us for the sail, taking us out and peppering our trip with stories of the bay and more, we could not have asked for a better experience. It was the perfect day!

We had this idea to set sail from a restaurant dock as the send off for our daughter's wedding.
Josh and Carmeletta jumped on the idea with us and added so many great thoughts to bring the whole thing together.
This was the highlight of the evening for the bride and groom and they got to spend so much time on the water. Josh and Carmeletta made the whole evening special and truly brought Solomons, sunset and sailing to life. It was so romantic and anything they needed was cared for.
We will sail with Josh and Carmeletta again!!!!

Was looking on Google for a sailing experience for my kids and husband while we were staying in Solomons Island for a short vacay. Found Josh, Carmeletta, and the SeaHawk online and reached out. Instant reply with all the info needed to book a two hour cruise. The time spent getting to know sailing and our amazing hosts Josh and Carmeletta was great. My kids LOVED it and even my non sea bearing husband was impressed. About half way thru and I was trying to figure out how to book our next adventure on the SeaHawk with other friends and family. The price was affordable and totally worth every cent. We highly recommend this as a Must Do. Great for 1st timers and the experienced boater. Looking forward to getting some friends to go later in the year for a nice sunset sail and sip!!

My wife and I hoped to have a nice time introducing our 10 year old daughter to sailing ... and she had such a fine time she wan't to do the week long sail school next summer.
We and a friend also had a lot of fun (it was her first time sailing as well)! We will be doing it again sometime soon.

Josh, Carmeletta, and the Sea Hawk. Who wouldn't want to spend time with a team like this? I found these folks in a google search, and am I ever happy that I did. Not only will you enjoy the boat and the sail, but just spending time with these two is a real treat! Knowledgeable, capable, and extremely accommodating, these two had us rocking along with history, sea stories, and sailing lore the entire time, expertly sailing and hosting all at the same time. Can't wait to go back and do it again!

What an awesome adventure! When we learned we had a business trip to Solomon MD, I called and chatted with Josh about their sailing adventure and area activities. Josh was very courteous, friendly and knowledgable to the many questions I had. Apprehension of sailing was my fear. After my first chat with Josh, I knew this was the adventure we were looking for. Josh and his wife, Carmeletta, were very flexible and accommodating to our schedule. When we arrived at the dock, Carmeletta met us with a friendly smile and welcome, welcoming us to their the boat "Sea Hawk". They offered us refreshment and made us feel comfortable. We were given a tour of the inside of the boat, instructed on the safety protocol, and instruction on moving around on the boat Once we started our cruise, ALL my apprehension completely disappeared. Josh and Carmeletta explained and demonstrated to us so many things about sailing, running the boat, to wind direction, to other sailing activities on the waters. They shared the historical information of the bay, building and Naval center. Very knowledgable, eager to answer any questions the area, etc. We could do nothing except enjoy ourselves on the sail. Our sail was a 2 hour evening/sunset tour that lasted longer than that...which we had no objection to. We could have sailed the night away! The only thing we had to do was sit back and relax, enjoying the tour, the water, the fresh breeze and the beautiful scenery and sunset. They are very conscientious to safety, sharing the beauty of their community via sailing, great conversation, yet time to enjoy yourself. Josh and Carmeletta make a wonderful team and do an outstanding job of making the cruise enjoyable. Honestly, I can't speak highly enough about our great time sailing with Josh and Carmeletta. If you are looking for something fun and relaxing to do in Solomon, this is the ticket! We had a wonderful time.

My wife has been dying to try sailing, but where to start. This was the perfect solution! Josh and Carmeletta took us out on the Sea Hawk. It was like going sailing with your friends. The boat was plenty big enough for the four of us and the two of them, with all the amenities you'd need, full service drinks, places in the sun, places in the shade. All of us learned the lingo, the safety, the ropes (lots of ropes!) and got to steer. Both Josh and Carm race and are more than happy to talk you through how to run the boat, or just let you relax on the front deck on a comfy seat.
We booked a four hour sail, really two 2-hour sails with a dinner at a restaurant up the river in between. We went a little longer than that, which was NOT a problem for us. Sunset was beautiful as we sailed back into the Pax river delta. So relaxing, and the perfect way to end the summer (we did this over Labor Day weekend).
If you want to go, they are super flexible, super accommodating. They take pictures for you so you don't need to bring your cameras or phones if you don't want. We basically just climbed on board with our towels and sunglasses and enjoyed a long afternoon on the water.
Essentially these guys give you what you want. If you want some history and restaurant recommendations around Solomons, you got it. If you want to learn about sailing, boom. If you want to sleep on the front of the boat for 4 hours in complete silence, well I guess you could do that too. But we loved talking to Josh and Carm and learning about the area and the boat, and we'll be going again.
