Visiting from Oklahoma and knew we wanted to go apple picking. Came across Berlin Orchards online and it was definitely the right decision!
The selection of apples to pick was great and we had a good time exploring the orchard and getting a selection of each variety. Discovered a new variety (Macoun) that may be a top two apple.
The smell of the store when you walk in hits like a semi truck of fall. The apple cider donuts were great and ranked a 10/10 by our kids. The overall country atmosphere was welcoming and nostalgic. Would highly recommend!

Lovely farm with friendly staff and well-cared for animals. We really enjoyed our visit and the apples we picked!

We went in search of this place with the purpose of purchasing apple cider donuts and we were certainly glad that we did! It is a cute little place with friendly folk on site. When we arrived we realized that there is a small "petting zoo" up the hill on the property and went to explore. A group of school children were there enjoying the animals and, other than the less than pleasant odor, we thought it was a nice. We did not purchase apples but wandered the grounds and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere.
We did buy their delicious donuts though, and enjoyed them thoroughly. We are not from the area. If we were we would be sorely tempted to visit here frequently. Their donuts were better than the ones we purchase at home.

Great family run apple orchard with a farm stand with great fruits and treats . On site apple cider donuts are very very good .

My cousin and I both had babies within 8 months of each other. We always said that we wanted to make sure that our kids are close and have great memories (even if they’re pictures 😉) to look back on. I’ve been apple picking plenty of times but my cousin has never been. So we decided to make this a big family affair!
We brought our children, along with our partners, older cousins, and friends. When you first arrive, you can head up to the petting zoo where you’ll see sheep, pigs, ostriches, donkies, and roosters. They have an area where kids can paint pumpkins and explore mini barns. There’s a hay ride that will bring you to the orchards and you can bring your stroller on the hay ride as well, which was great!
They have a great variety of apples. Jonagold, Macon, Red Delicious, etc. and their prices are very reasonable. I would definitely recommend families to come here but definitely wear comfortable shoes. Their orchards are very hilly and you might be a lot more comfortable in sneakers.

My wife and I annually explore this orchard when we head out for apple picking. We have been to many farms and apple orchards over the years and we love to return to Berlin Orchards every year. We look for spots that have outstanding donuts, a few if any amenities, and crowds that are not overwhelming . This place checks all three boxes. These donuts are moist and sugary, they way cider donuts should be, and there aren't too many people which lends to it's quiet atmosphere. Berlin Orchards offers the typical apple picking (Macs, Macoun, Jonagold, Mutsu, Honey Crisp, etc), pumpkins for sale, cider donuts, hayride to the orchard, and a little petting zoo. They offer just enough amenities to keep the kids occupied without added spectacles that over shadowing the quaintness of apple picking. Other places tend to go overboard nowadays bouncy castles, bbq, ice cream sundaes, pony rides, etc but this place keeps it simple. Berlin Orchards is worth a ride out to enjoy the peaceful beauty that they have to offer.

My husband and I drove up from the Cape the other day for an appointment and decided to try Berlin Orchards for our yearly apple picking. We have gotten so tired of the militant attitudes and crowds of people pushing, screaming, crying, harrasing the animals at Tougas. The weather didn't cooperate, but we went to the farm store to buy apples...Jonagold, Cortland, Honeycrisp and, of course, apple cider donuts! These are the best apple cider donuts I have ever had (and I've had alot!)! Even the Honeycrisps just have a more delicious taste and texture. And the absolute sweetest woman waited on us in the store. We stopped and saw the animals which are adorable...love the donkeys and the goats! We can't wait to go back next year and get a chance to pick apples. Love this place!

Awesome place for Apple picking— family owned and run— great day! The Byrne family works hard in their orchard all year to provide many types of apples to pick, great hay wagon rides, Apple pies and other vegetables too. Nice people, beautiful orchard. Berlin is one of the prettiest towns in central Massachusetts. Just go and enjoy!

Berlin Orchards for apple picking or their fun events and gatherings is always a feel good, wholesome experience for the whole family. Jared, the owner, is an incredibly funny, personable, and warm soul who makes everyone feel happy just to be around.
