A truly precious hidden gem right here on Cape Cod bay. Wonderful production at affordable prices. A must visit.

We attended the Cape Rep production of Noises Off tonight. Fabulous. This outdoor theatre is small, intimate, but great. The cast were ALL perfect in their rolls and performances were flawless. The production was excellant - a difficult task in a tight setting like this and in this production which requires major shifts in staging. We've seen the same show in a much largertheater, but this production was superior. The outdoor stage ( they also have an indoor stage I understand) is set out in the woods, in a nice quiet setting. Slight amphatheater setting, with limited seting. The stage is small, but they did an excellant job. and all the seats are very close to the stage. I was very impressed. We will definately be watching their schedule for the next production we can attend. A++.

This theater has amazing programs and shows for Cape Cod. They started YoCo and Vetco two years ago to support Youth and Veterans on the Cape. They always have interesting shows throughout the season. Not to be missed.

My and wife were celebrating our Anniversary on Cape Cod this weekend. We enjoy small theater. I found The Cape Rep Theatre while doing a search. You drive 1/4 mile into the woods. You arrive at a parking area and two buildings. I said to my wife, What did I buy tickets to? This can't be good. Was I mistaken. What a fantastic place! We were there for Something Rotten. The cast did a great job. We laughed our way through two plus of fun. Well acted, by a dedicated group of actors. You can see their dedication to their craft in the way they approach their work, Well done to all involved. We will put the Cape Rep on our to do list, whenever we visit Cape Cod!

We’ve been to this theatre on two occasions and both shows were outstanding. We’ve seen one play in the main theatre in the evening, just adults, which was honestly one of the best plays I’ve ever seen including broadway shows. The show we saw today was put on by the Pitter Patter Puppet theatre. It was outside with bench seating. The seats were partially shaded but comfortable. The show itself was remarkable. Both children and adults were genuinely entertained. Children were encouraged to participate and the puppeteer was wonderful with children even to the point of gently reminding a child here or there to wait for a turn or take their turn. My only complaint was the end... I couldn’t believe how fast the time went by and that the hour or so had passed so quickly! We visited with my very active two year old son, four year old son and their 4 year old girl friend. Three different personalities but all very much entertained. I would highly recommend this show to families with children as old as 10-12.

Cape Rep Theatre always does a fantastic job with every play they produce and they have outdone themselves with Mama Mia. This is a high energy show with great cast that sings, dances and acts like a Broadway Troupe. In addition the music is live and the quartet does a tremendous job with all of the tunes.
They will have you singing, clapping and dancing along in the Taverna Resort in the Greek Isles.
I just hope you can still get a ticket.
Located on Route 6A near Nickerson State Park, it is easy to find but don't get worried as you turn into the driveway...it is pretty long and more like a country lane...Plenty of parking, restrooms inside the building, nice friendly receptive team at the from desk. Handicap parking available around the back of the playhouse.

We've seen two shows at Cape Rep theater over the past two years and will be back for a third this summer. Depending on the show, you really can find something for everyone. We have attended with our parents, bought gift certificates for an aunt/uncle, and brought our pre-teen children to shows, too. They also have shows for younger children, though we haven't seen any.
The theater is small with only a handful of seats, and all seats are great ones. The actors are superb and it is amazing to see what they can do, transforming the stage very creatively (we saw Peter and the Starcatcher and the way they portrayed boats and the island was very creative with limited space and materials).
We recommend catching a show and heading to one of the great local restaurants in the area before and after.

The theatre is small and intimate and so you feel you're involved in the play yourself. The performance we saw was Merrily they go along.
This was very well acted/sung, it turned out not to be our sort of play though. It was a harrowing and painful exploration of how friends broke apart.

The entrance directly off Route 6A quickly turns into a narrow dirt road in dense foliage, but don't give up. A clearing provides parking and a short walk to the theater. The venue is small, but every one of the 100+ seats has a perfect view of the relatively large stage.
We have enjoyed many productions over the years, and our most recent visit did not disappoint. Sets can be elaborate or minimal depending on the work. The acting has been consistently good, with a mix of local and imported talent. We have a number of excellent community theater the Cape, and this is one of the finest, in my opinion.

They are regular seats, with a backing, and the bottom and back are padded. The plays we’ve been to have been 2 acts with an intermission to stretch your legs.
