I'm not especially into antiques but love coming here. The show encompasses both sides of a busy road and you can find all kinds of treasures- toys, clothing, furniture, etc, etc. Vendors love to talk, bargain freely- not my strong suit unfortunately- and just enjoy the experience. (They even have a few booths selling food). I just wish I had purchased the carousel horse I saw!!!!!!!!!!

I love Brimfield and go at least once a year. If you can’t find what you are looking for there, it might not exist. You can spend a few days looking for treasures among the miles of stalls there, bargaining as you go. People are friendly and the food trucks are good. What other flea market can you get a lobster roll!
Take lots of cash and wear good shoes!

The Brimfield Antiques Center is spot on for antiques. You will not find a combination of flea market items and antiques, it is all antiques. It is set up on both sides of the street. It is so massive that there is an information booth in front of all the action. There is everything you can imagine here, furniture, comics, records, beads, cameras, lamps, clothing, furs, dishes, etc. It could take you 1-2 hours to get through the whole thing. If you get a bit peckish there is popcorn, hotdogs, fries, sausage and grilled peppers, and a beer and wine garden.
Parking near the market is around $10. The further out you go, the less it is. We paid $5 and it was a short walk.

Wear comfortable walking shoes. There’s so many fields filled with all kinds of trinkets to large furniture pieces. It’s also a good idea to bring a backpack 🎒 or shopping cart with wheels for all your purchases. And cash is best. I paid $5.00 to park. There were plenty of restrooms around. There were also a lot of people with dogs. I thought it was a little crowded to bring dogs, but people did it anyway. I had a pleasant time & will go again. You never know what you’re going to find.

Miles of antiques, all interesting. No irregular socks or cheesy lookig t-shirts! But leave plenty of time if you plan on covering any of it--there is too much to see in one or even two days.

First time visit to Brimfield and am disappointed with the pricing here. We flea market a lot, and have done the Longest Yard Sale out west. I got much better deals from them for some reason. They would work with you, Brimfield this is not happening. And reality they are way to high to begin with, it's not worth the conversation to try to dicker bc we are to far off to begin with. Luckily I do enjoy looking at all the many many items, some you have never seen bf and probably will never again but I AIN'T BUYING. And more than likely will NOT BE BACK.

This is a review of the flea market show that takes place 3x a year. First, plan to get there early. It starts between 8 and 9 depending on the field. Second, there is no real organization I can find on who is there or where they are, so be prepared to do some hunting. Some sellers are there each time and in the same field, but where they are in the field can change. You can have a high end vendor next to a booth that looks like someone’s closet exploded. Third, plan to walk A LOT. If you think you are going to buy a large number of things you may want to bring a cart of some kind to carry things because you aren’t going to want to be running back to your car. Finally, I was told by a vendor May is the largest show. September is supposedly 2nd in size with July being the “smallest” although even that one is huge. When we’ve come we’ve stayed in Springfield. There really isn’t much between there and Brimfield and at least in Springfield you know you’ll have a decent hotel and place to eat when your done.

This is the place to be three times each year - Brimfield. I have been here four times. Try to pick a day when it's somewhat cloudy and the temperature is not too high. Bring water, a good hat, and comfortable walking shoes. You will walk!!

Whatever you need or don't need, Brimfield has it.

This is our second trip to brimfield for the flea market. The first time we went was for one day. This time we decided to stay over night so we could see all of it in two days. Not happening. If you want to see it all, you will probably have to go for the whole week. If you are looking for anything, especially antiques you will find it there. Had a great time and plan on going back in the fall.

Exceeded our expectations. We traveled from Chicago area. I read an excellent review, description here about this event. Yes, it starts Tuesday, ends Sunday. It's actually a collection of 21 shows, some open for only 1 day. So go to the website and look up dealers and days they open and times. We stayed for 8 hours on Tuesday, returned for another 5 on Wednesday. We missed May's which opened on Thursday. I think Tuesday is a must since Dealer's Choice and Brimfield Acres are only open that day. Dealer's Choice had many high end art and collectible items. I saw lots of $$ change hands in first hour. There are designers here from high end firms, including Ralph Lauren and King's Lane. They move fast so if you are looking for salvage, industrial lighting, fine early american antiques, amazing mid-century modern furniture, lighting and decorative arts you may be shopping beside those without a budget. We went for new england early american furniture. We ended up buying an english welsh dresser and some small items. They do have porters who will move big stuff for you. Everyone is very friendly and the atmosphere is a happy one. Lots of walking, I did see people on scooters but you are out in the grass, mud, ruts, gravel. Not really for children at all, this isn't a flea market, the only toys were collectible items. The food court is great, highly organized for crowds, large portions. I had to have the Pilgrim Sandwich, she is right on Rte 20 and the food is quality (large and expensive sandwich $10, but feeds 2) The folks who live near the show will allow you to park for $10, they are nice people. We stayed on Southbridge because everything closer was booked but Southbridge was only 20 min drive. (Southbridge Conference Center very nice and clean with a restaurant after a long day of walking in the cold and mud.) Ideally, we would have stayed at the Publick House in Sturbridge, but it books up early. Has the most charming restaurant there. I know some people sleep in Springfield, but that's pretty far. Bring an empty van/truck/trailer just in case you see something big. They do have a way to organize shipping at the show, but I'm not sure. We would go annually if it was just a little closer to Chicago, but we will be back. May probably has the best stuff, I have heard the end of the week you can get better deals. Bring layers, mud boots nice, I got mine at Walmart for $12, they were perfect. We brought a rolling shopping cart, but they do sell them there and they rent pretty big wagons. So you can just get those if you really start to buy stuff. Anyone who is into design, decorating, collecting will be dazzled here. Tons of one of a kind items, and lots of fun. Quaker Acres was my favorite show, but it was more oriented to antiques, lots of primitive, shabby chic and american country.
