This is a very knowledgeable dealer who is clearly in love with his work. He has a great stock of original maps and prints as well as very well-executed reproductions. It is fun just to o in and look at all of the stuff there.

Do yourself a favor and drive five minutes out of downtown Chatham to visit Maps of Antiquity - in my view the premier shopping destination in Chatham (or any of the surrounding towns, for that matter). The selection ranges from local nautical charts to 500-year old maps of Siam to vintage postcards of New England colleges. There are options for every price range, and the collection is extensive (i.e. on a recent visit I perused upwards of 50 maps of India). The owners are knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. This is a shop worth a detour for anyone, not just for those with a pre-existing interest in maps.

Never visited in person but this store is an online-shopping paradise. (I hope to visit someday.) Endless inventory of fascinating historic maps, prints, charts, you name it. Irresistible for those of us who know what a unique, thoughtful gift these items make. Most affordable antiques you can find! Service is extraordinary, everything carefully packaged and delivered super fast. Warning: browsing is addictive. Set aside plenty of time.

Purchased a very nice print that I was already familiar with. This one was in better condidion than others I have found and it was MUCH cheaper. I got it for 35 dollars and, for example, another far worse example is online for $750.00. Then they gave me an unsolicited break on shipping! There are print sellers out to get rich on the unsuspecting, and then there is Maps of Antiquity. By the way the print is certainly authentic I would know.

I have purchased from Maps of Antiquity. With antique maps, packaging is very important, since the paper is easy to damage. M of A takes great care in their packaging. My map arrived via insured mail, but the post office had damaged the package. Since it was so well wrapped, the map was still pristine. Thanks!

I found a long-sought-after map on their website at a very reasonable price and placed the order on a Friday. Package arrived first thing Wednesday morning via USPS Priority Mail - map in perfect condition, packaging first rate. Thanks Maps team!

I am not a postcard collector but found one at Maps of Antiquity that I intend to give as a gift. It is a vintage postcard from Martha's Vineyard.
The card arrived in perfect condition, was VERY carefully packed and even came with framing instructions. Very thoughtful and professional.
I look forward to visiting them!

Efficient. Perri was so kind, even mannered and easy to speak with on the phone. Order was placed quickly. Received in a timely fashion. The map came in exceptional conditioned wrapped air tight.

Hi Trina! Yes, we are open year 'round! Oct 14th should be normal hours (10 to 5). If you want to be absolutely sure we will be here on a given day, you can call us, but it would be very rare for us to be closed for a whole day, aside from major holidays!

Hello Dale, I'm sorry, I don't quite understand your question. We don't sell drinks here and our upstairs contains three guestrooms that we rent nightly at rates that change depending on the season.
