We've been vacationing in Chatham for a decade, and we've enjoyed whale watching, lobstering, kayaking, sailing, etc. The day we spent fishing with Captain Jack on his beautiful new boat was by far the best experience we've had on Cape Cod! He recommended we go fishing in the waters off Nantucket. Since the weather was beautiful, the trip to Nantucket was super. The kids, 11 and 6, were able to catch a few large bluefish and a couple of bass, and were absolutely delighted. My son enjoyed the trip so much he asked (while we were still on the boat) to come back next year. Captain Jack is amazing with children. We all had a wonderful time and would highly recommend Roil Blue Charters! PS At home we grilled the striped bass; it was delicious!

I went out with my boys(9 and 10 yrs) last week with Captain Jack. Over the years we have chartered fishing trips in 3 countries and most of the southern states. Captain Jack was the best with kids of all the charters we have been on. His new boat is fantastic, and my older son was really interested in the technology on the boat which he explained in full during the day.
First he took us fishing for "fun", to a place where the boys reeled in monster bluefish until their arms were tired. Then we went fishing for "dinner", where the stripers were hitting. Our whole group had a great day and we went home with plenty of fish.
Roil Blue was the most professionally run of all the charters we have ever been on. I hope to come back some day.

I have been out with Jack on three different trips, we always bring home plenty of fish! I have been fishing my entire life and I know a pro when I see one and Jack is it. He knows just where to go and always very personal and friendly. From the beginner to an expert, Roil Blue is the way to go for fun Cape Cod fishing. See you in the fall!

Jack Gardner is a terrific captain and he knows where the fish are! This was the first chartered fishing trip that my whole family had been on so Jack knew it was important to keep the two teens busy by catching fish - lots of them. A short trip to the warmer waters off Nantucket (with a little side trip to see the seals) and we were in blues heaven. When our time was up, we had brought in 26 blues with an average weight near 6 pounds. And we had hooked another 10-12 and enjoyed the 'fish fight' to within eyesight and the boat's edge. Jack was an excellent captain and provided us with some history of the area, ensured that we were comfortable and well equipped to continue fishing as long as we desired. The fresh fish for dinner also was a treat. Thanks, Jack, for a great trip! It was a highlight of our first ever Cape Cod visit!

Yesterday my extended family (6 of us) spent the day with Captain Jack fishing for Stripers off of Chatham and Blues off of Nantucket. We had a blast!!! My party included 4 boys under the age of 16 and Captain Jack worked with each of them to make sure they caught their fill of fish! Smiles and high fives were the order of the day. Captain Jack knows where the fish are. His boat is clean, modern, and FAST! We can't wait to come back and fish with Captain Jack next year. Thank you!

My three clients and I had a great day of fishing with Captain Jack.
We have all been on a number of other fishing charters and we all agreed Captain Jack was by far the best we have ever had.
He is extremely personable, knowledgeable and really makes you feel at home aboard his beautiful Grady White boat.
Jack took us to the rips off Monomoy and over to the backside of Nantucket, where we caught a bunch of fish!
I would highly recommend Roil Blue Charters and Captain Jack....I'm already booking a couple of other client trips!

Went out fishing with Captain Jack on July 29th 2014. We had five in our party from experencied fishermen to the novice. Jack made everyone feel right at home. Captain Jack is all about making sure you have a wonderful day and hopefully catch some fish. He does everthing in his power to changing locations, using different strategies etc......so that you can land the big one. The day was fantastic and I would highly recommend Roil Blue Charters!!!!!!!!

Our day with captain jack and our family couldn't have been better. Captain jack is so knowledgeable and personable that everyone from the novice to the expert fisherman can feel comfortable. He took us out to Nantucket for a great day of fishing. We will definitely do this again with captain jack!

I have been on many fishing charters over the years and this was truly the best. Captain Jack's knowledge, experience, and great personality made for a wonderful trip. He made us feel right at home on his well equipped beautiful boat. Everything we needed was taken care of and we caught plenty of fish. My husband, myself and out two children had a great day and made lots of fantastic memories. Can't wait till next time!

Wonderful experience. Great fun for all--experienced and novice fishermen.
When not fishing, we were entertained by the whales. They put on quite a show. Beautiful.
