What do East Longmeadow tax dollars go to? The High School is falling apart, The pond is so polluted and the playground needs a clean up! It’s kinda gross there.

A very nice park to walk when the weather permits, Lots of families come to excercise their pets (and kids) but stay away from the geese! They have been known to attack!

It always has people, children, ducks, Canada geese and sometimes swans. A safe place, a playground, next to a ball park, there is always something going on, family and individual activities.

In the summer its a olace to visit with the geese . Don't feed them or you might get pecked. but the playground is wonderful for little children. And its a great place for a picnic.
In the winter when the pond freezes you can ice skate ! many people clear off the pond and it is checked by the town for safety and thickness of ice. My "grands" love coming here!

They really don't clean up after the geese. It's a shame because it could be a beautiful park. It has certainly lost it's shine a bit.

This park right off the main road is nicely maintained if you just want to relax for a bit on the many benches surrounding the pond and watch the geese and swans. There is a playground in the back for the little kids as well as other spots where Soccer and Baseball is often played. The dog park which was added several years ago near the pavilion is always crowded.

Heritage Park has undergone a transformation over the years and has become a nice local place to relax. Located just off Route 83 (North Main Street) near two shopping plazas, the park has a playground, baseball diamonds, soccer field, a dog park, a pavilion, and picnic tables and benches. The park is divided into two parts because of the pond (with a fountain in the center) and there is adequate parking on both sides. Lots of trees for shade and some short walking trails. It is a great addition to the Town and well maintained.

The fall is a glorious time to stroll in the park and marvel at the orange, red and yellow colors of the foliage. In the winter there is skating or just watching the skaters glide across the surface of the small pond. Really, anytime in the good weather, it is very relaxing to sit on a bench or take a short walk along the pathways. The vistas may not be spectacular, but it is delightful to enjoy the green space.

From a visual point of view the park is quite attractive. There is a pond with a fountain, many benches, picnic tables, a wooded area for trail walking, and a ball field of to the right. The place was overrun with Canadian geese, so the town purchased two swans to help get rid of the geese. It didn't work! All the birds are good buddies! People frequently go to feed the geese, but I must tell you, the place is LOADED with geese poop.

Quaint little park right on a the main road in East Longmeadow, not far from the famous multi-road circle & on the way into Springfield. Nice natural pond, a ball field & walking areas along the trees, a playground & benches in various areas around the pond. Relaxing to sit & watch the ducks, breathe some fairly clean air & enjoy nature not too far from local hustle & bustle & shopping centers within feet of this little oasis.
