Great time with my family on Mad Max.
We were on the boat for a sunset sailing, couple glasses of wine, nice company, quite and so relaxing time. we took a nice table and we enjoyed a lot.
We got a beautiful sunset in our way back to the harbor.
Just Gorgeous!

It was a sunny, cloudless day so we expected to see a gorgeous sunset on the water. THAT is the only reason we took this very expensive boat ride. Did we get that? Nope. Why? Because they pulled in as the sun was setting so it was behind the buildings!! 15 minutes longer being out and we would have seen a beautiful sunset. We were not the only ones complaining that we didn’t get to see it. All this is, is drinking on a boat. Booze cruise. Could have done that in the afternoon and been more comfortable. We came prepared for the bitter wind but we were only willing to be out at night when it’s really cold on the water so that we could see the sun set. I gave them two stars because they let people man the wheel. I thought that was pretty cool of them; those people were so happy to get the chance.

An amazing experience with friends and family. The sunset cruise was so relaxing. I enjoyed meeting new friends and family. The music was fun and engaging.

We went in the sunset sail and we enjoyed it a lot.👍
It’s a gorgeous catamaran with enough space for everybody, they have four tables and space to be sitting.
Yeah don’t music = perfect and peaceful time..
I really recommend to go out in Mad Max if you like sailing ; Captain Bob is very professional their made our trip unforgettable.

I recently did the sunset tour with my adult son as a birthday outing. The boat itself is very nice. It has covered seating and you can sit on the bow. You have to get there early if you want to really pick your seat. The entire tour is BYOB for food and drink which is fine but some people brought full dinner spreads which were just not conducive to the setting. The captain was late and never greeted us. The mate was there and had a greeting but then never said anything again. There was no local history, commentary about what we were seeing. There was no music. The sailing itself was okay. We didn’t go anywhere just back and forth a bit in the outer harbor area. At the end when a tip was expected I was kind of surprised because so little was done for the guests it was unwarranted. Additionally there were a number of small kids on our tour and they were unruly and bored. It would have been far more enjoyable as an adult trip. I would not recommend this if you are seeking information or to be entertained. If you just want to sail then it was okay.

This is a peaceful sail out of Edgartown Harbor, 1 hour out beyond the Cape Poge Lighthouse on Chappaquiddick Island and back on a catamaran. There is seating on the bow and in a protected cabin. Get there early if you want a seat on the bow. Neither the captain or mate provided commentary on what we were seeing but both were available to answer questions. It’s not a tour, it’s just a peaceful ride. There were many young children on the boat and this really isn’t for them. There isn’t anything for them to do and it’s a long time to keep them occupied.

This was such a good relaxing time. The views were spectacular!! The staff was friendly and good humored. We had four in our party and there was plenty of room for all guests. To make our evening/sunset sail even better, we brought a couple bottles of wine and some snacks. If going to Martha’s Vineyard, I definitely recommend booking one of their sails.

Awesome, gorgeous ride. Perfect beautiful day. Met some great people on the boat - our captain Dusty and his assistance Alexai answered all our questions and had great personalities for the job. Would highly recommend!!

Our group of five took a 6 PM boat ride from Edgartown. We had a great time. The boat is designed for group sailing such that your group can sit inside in a sheltered area (from wind or rain), or outside near the bow. You may bring you own beverages and food, if you wish. The captain was very friendly and knowledgable. We for three hours. If was a nice way to see the surrounding areas from the water. Be sure to bring a coat, as it gets cold with the wind.
