The bus has a stop right down the road from Bad Martha's. Maybe a 5 minute walk or so. We used the bus system the entire time we were there and loved Bad Martha's!

This will be a long winded answer, but here I go! The short answer is yes, it is, but it depends on which Ferry and the mode of transportation you're taking. The Island is small, so in theory everything is within distance from the ferry and I'm sure you could make the trip and it wouldn't be too far out of your way, no matter where you're going (unless you plan to spend all day up island in Aquinnah, Chilmark, or Menemsha). Bad Martha's is located in Edgartown by "the triangle." Note that this is not "downtown Edgartown," but any store clerk, taxi or bus driver, or even passerby on the street will know where to direct you. If you're taking the Steamship Authority (or any other boat really, including Seastreak, the Island Queen, the Hyline, etc.,), you'll be docking in either Vineyard Haven or Oak Bluffs, both of which have buses to Edgartown (13 from Oak Bluffs), and you can request to stop right outside of where Bad Martha's is (it's located behind Donaroma's Nursery, which has bright and beautiful flowers along the bike path so you definitely won't miss it). I don't remember off the top of my head how much a taxi is from Vineyard Haven to Edgartown, but from Oak Bluffs it would be $18-$22 depending on the taxi company (I recommend Stagecoach). If you're docking in Edgartown, which would mean you took the Pied Piper from Falmouth, it would be a long walk, but definitely doable and there are some great spots to see along the way! Either way, I highly recommend stopping here, especially if you can do it between 3 and 6 on a weekend, as they have live music. The flight is my favorite because they always come out with new beers to try and it's $9, a great deal compared to most other spots! Have a great time! :)
