We thoroughly enjoyed taking a 2.5-hour lighthouse tour around Cape Ann. The captain and crew were welcoming, friendly, professional, and very attentive to safety. They provided drinks and snacks onboard for an inexpensive cost, and they had blankets available to help guests combat the cool winds that blow on the ocean. We took the tour on an extremely hot day and yet we were cool as we left the harbor. This trip was very relaxing and really provides a good sense of the Cape Ann area.

We recently booked the lobster cruise with my two grandsons. Shortly after leaving the dock, one of my grandsons felt sick. The captain turned around and brought us back to the dock.
Later that evening, Capeann tours called to tell us that they were fully refunding us the cost of the tour. We were so grateful!
There are not many companies anymore that truly care about the customer!
We highly recommend Capeann Tours!!!

A group of 8 took a lovely and informative 2 hour trip up the Annisquam River. Both the captain and 1st mate were great. Full of information , friendly and helpful. Great option for when the ocean is too wavy.

My family of 6 recently took the Cape Ann Lobster boat tour and the whole crew of kids ranging from 2-12 absolutely loved it as did the adults. It was a perfect New England summer day excursion. We enjoyed being out in the harbor and learning the fishing and lobstering history of Glaucester. Our tour guide George Story was fantastic. You could tell immediately that he was both passionate, knowledgeable, and local, that’s the trifecta you’re looking for in a guide. Although we didn’t catch a lobster that day ( we did pull up a crab) we still had a delightful afternoon. We will definitely be bringing out of town guests on this tour and spreading the word. I highly recommend this for anyone visiting the area!

Such a fun cruise!! The hospitality was above par, very welcoming, knowledgeable not only about historical facts but fun facts too. Also the captain and his mate were awesome been doing it for a very long time he made this trip the best. Highly recommend!

We had an AMAZING time on the lighthouse tour! The captain (Jesse) and the first mate (Brian) were knowledgeable, super friendly and made me feel safe on board. Bring sunscreen and a sweatshirt (it can get breezy on the water). Also, bring cash for snacks, beverages and a well deserved tip. The boat was plenty big. We will be going back to do this tour again because it was truly a fun and relaxing trip!

We rode the water shuttle for two round trips and it was a fantastic Saturday afternoon. Jack and Steve were great tour guides and hosts and we had even more of a great time than we’d hoped for. We will definitely be back for another couple of trips around the harbor!!

The captain was fun and knowledgeable. The mate was friendly and accommodating. Very enjoyable tour. Highly recommend! Bring cash for snacks/drinks and a tip!

Excellent tour to learn about the area. The weather was iffy, but the captain kept us updated the day before the tour (we had purchased tickets online) and when we boarded, the captain also told us that if we got out to the open ocean and it was too rough they had a Plan B to go upriver. It WAS rough and though we could tolerate it, most others wouldn't so it was on to Plan B, which was great. The captain and first mate were very knowledgeable and willing to answer questions about things along the way. Yes, there were specific items the captain pointed out, but it never sounded like a 'canned speech'. We only missed two of the outermost lighthouses so it was still a very good 'lighthouse tour'. Yes, the boat is rustic, but it's fairly comfortable and safety was definitely a high priority.

Only one hour long. We learned about catching lobsters. Kids were thrilled to get their selfies holding lobsters.

Two of us were scheduled to take a trip mid-week last year in July, but it was canceled due to high seas. I wanted to travel on the "Best Lighthouse Cruise" as recommended by Yankee Magazine on the CG approved ship "King Elder." Is this the website for that cruise? Do you depart from 66 Harbor Loop, off of Rogers St.? What is your departure time for July 16 this year? If not could you please help me?

We foresee having the Lighthouse Cruise at 2:30pmn July 14th, 2015.

We suggest you check the weather a few days out, and if it looks like a fair weather day, you should purchase your tickets online. We will see you at the ticket booth 30 minutes prior to departure.
