This tour is a wonderful way to get to know the town. We've been coming to Gloucester for years and have done all the boat tours and historical tours and we thought we knew everything there was to know about the history of Gloucester and Cape Ann. We did this tour a few years ago and really enjoyed it so we signed up again this year and this time we visited different places and learned even more. We even went to some restaurants we hadn't been to before. Cindy brings a personalized touch to the history. I love how she always has a fun anecdotal story for the locations that we visit. Locals passing by stop to say "Hi". Some even contribute their own stories. She seems to know everyone in town and shows you the personality of Gloucester throughout the tour.

We met Cindy at the Gloucester Maritime museum at 11:30 for our food tour not knowing what a wonderful learning experience we were in for! We walked out onto the wharf and Cindy began our tour with information regarding the "Adventurer" Schooner and some history about the city of Gloucester. For the next 3+ hours we casually strolled the Downtown Gloucester area, stopping several times to chat with local residents and sample some fantastic food. It was a very refreshing experience; unlike other foodie tours we have been on that scurry you from one restaurant to the next. Cindy was knowledgeable and articulate! We had a great time and sampled some delicious food along the way. We highly recommend taking the Cape Ann Foodie Tour! You wont be disappointed.

Although we have vacationed in Gloucester several times over the years our guide, Cindy, gave us information about the history and culture that we didn’t know. She also introduced us to some new restaurants and the food on the tour was delicious

We loved our tour with Cindy! She was so great to work with. We scheduled for a Friday and the day was raining and cold. Cindy rescheduled with us for the next day at the time that worked for us. Then she gave us a few places we could go on our own with it raining so we didn't have a wasted day. She went above and beyond our expectations!

It was a lovely time and I'm so happy that we could have you on our tour. There's so much to do and see on Cape Ann; it's nice to know so much that we can share with our visitors. Safe travels or as we say here in Glosta, wishing you "Following winds and Fair seas".

Just moved to Gloucester but had been visiting our family here for years. We thought we knew pretty much everything there was to know but learned much more from our tour. It was loaded with interesting facts and lore and the food was delicious! Cindy does a terrific job!

My wife and I signed up for the tour online with the understanding there must be a minimum of 4 for the tour to occur. Cindy met us and said the others had cancelled but she would take us on the tour anyway. What followed was the very best introduction to this charming fishing village anyone could have. As a native 'Glouscesterite' she provided so much interesting historical context to the sights and tastes we very much enjoyed. Cindy made it a day we'll never forget and we appreciate her passion and willingness to share her town with a couple of midwesterners. Thanks again SO much and we look forward to getting together again during our next trip to New England. Also, we very much enjoyed reading your book.

I recently took this tour. It was amazing. I learned history and heard local stories, which were a fascinating. The food spots we stopped at were excellent. It was well planned. Did some walking and sightseeing and stopped at logical times to sample great food. I was so full at the end I didn't even want dinner. I would definitely recommend this if you are visiting Cape Ann

We heard Cape Ann story from a native, one whose family has been in Gloucester for generations. Cindy told stories with humor and poignancy. Found spots hidden away from usual tourist traps as well as vistas caught in movies filmed in the area, CODA, Manchester by the sea and the Proposal. Yummy bites of local chowders, seafood, pizza, Italian sandwiches and finished with Italian pastries, cannoli and espresso. Visited local businesses and sampled olive oil‘s, vinegars and beauty products that make great gifts.

This Tour was amazing! So fun, informative and delicious! We learned a lot about Gloucester and also the restaurants we went to were so delicious! An added bonus we were able to see the Fishermen from "Wicked Tuna" bring in a large tuna. So fun to watch! I highly recommend this tour--the Best Ever!
