Electric go-carts! Not as fast as F1 but plenty fast! Only complaint is the track is tight which makes it tough to pass other racers.

As part of a Christmas gift to my nephews, I gifted two races at K1 Speed. Being from out of town it was a good get out if the house activity for the hole family. Mom, dad, the nephews and uncle did one race and the nephews got a 2nd race. Great fun, definitely make a reservation or if you don’t mind a hour wait on a weekend you could walk in but call ahead. Also download and fill out wavers ahead of time. You still have to register when you get there, which I think they should let you do on line ahead of time to expatiate the whole process as well as provide a online safety/ rule video that they are going to instruct you on. I’m a planner and rather get all that done up front before I get there.
If you are a planner the mall also has a trampoline park, bowling and escape room in it so you could time it and make it a fun filled day out of the house. So take a spin on the track and have some competitive fun to see who gets the best lap time !!!

It was a rainy day on the Cape and we had run out of things to do locally so did a little Googling and discovered K1 Speed - what a great discovery! The boys had a great time and the facility was clean and well maintained. Afterwards, we even had time to catch a movie at the theater next door. We will definitely keep this venue on our list of activities.

Loved this! A little pricey but a lot of fun! I would recommend this to anyone! Kids and adults!! They have separate races for the younger kids so you don't have to worry about them riding with more aggressive drivers. I love the print out of your results for each lap afterwards too!

Me and my boyfriend took our two ten year old boys here for a good time and got what they came for.we got there before 3pm it was crowded line was long only one cashier and she was running the concession stand to.a half and hour into waiting a male came out to help her finally!! You gotta register first then pay we got 3 speed passes that comes with the license and a t-shirt and two races we was told the wait to race was an hour and a half we walked through the mall got a bite to eat came back and it was their turn to race.staff was nice, pleasant and helpful my boyfriend and the boys had an awesome time go karts are super fast we will definately Return Soon probably a little later in the day when the crowd dies down.

Looking for a gift for the man/boy in your life? This is definitely a win/win gift. It is great fun to watch and the little boy or the speed racer comes out every time. Looking for a rainy day treat? This is the place to spend some inside time.

great place with the kids.. better if you snag a groupon def makes it more affordable. can buy multiple tickets to save some money

I purchased a Groupon for K1 Speed for my husband and 3 teen sons as a Father's Day activity. We were unable to go that day but, visited yesterday on a summer Sunday. It was very quiet and there was minimal wait. The venue is located in the Kingston Collection (mall). The desk staff was friendly but, not particularly helpful with the registration process on computers. The facility opened recently so the equipment is in good shape. It was very loud with go carts speeding and loud music so my family was unable to hear the safety briefing and found this annoying. Since they had been in F1 cars at other venues, it wasn't a real big deal but could be problematic for newbies. The race staff was friendly and safety conscious. There were a few times where the cars slowed way down for no apparent reason. Everyone had a great time. Even though we purchased 4, they did only 3 races (10 min each) and stopped as their necks and back were sore. We were able to save the 4 unused races "indefinitely" which was appreciated.
All in all, everyone had a good time...even my husband was saying, "next time we come...!" They sell food or you can bring your own or purchase from the food court right outside. We chose to go to a local restaurant. There are many in the area to choose from.
The races aren't cheap ($19/each but there are package deals) but, it is a fun day out and we recommend it.
