Had a great time! It is a mix of mental and physical challenges (if you choose the red and black rooms). The green rooms do not require physical activity. We really enjoyed the variety of rooms and challenges. There were a lot of tweens and teens there but we expected that and weren’t bothered by it. Just something to be aware of.

We did a 2 hr experience with 40 students for a school trip. This is a MUST!
dress comfortably, and bring water. The kids and adults had a blast. It is unlike any escape room escperience you have ever had. Everyone gave it 5 starts.

We spent 4 hours at Boda Borg, and I would have stayed all day if I could have! The puzzles and rooms are amazing, challenging, and so much fun. It was a blast!

I took my fifth graders here for a class trip and we had the most amazing time!!! I will cherish those memories with them forever! We laughed, problem solved, worked together, and failed many times and I wouldn't change a thing! I have already had students go back with their families! It was definitely the hit of the trip! I could not recommend enough for schools, class trips, families, or friends! We were there for four hours and I would say that was the perfect amount of time, anything less would be too short! We were WHIPED afterwords! Staff was friendly and willing to help, were super flexible and understanding! Could not recommend enough! I cannot wait to go back!

My partner and I took our two sons here last weekend for a Sunday afternoon. We have been 3x before and always enjoyed it. Masks are required at this time and there are several signs throughout the facility.
My youngest son was asked 2x to pull the mask back above his nose when coming out of a Quest by the same staff member, Mikey. My partner and I kept reminding him, but as a child having fun will do, did not focus on his mask while we were Questing.
Mikey did not correct other children or families who were disregarding the mask rule and followed up around the facility. After a 2x reminder, we were asked to go upstairs (which we did) to talk to a manager, who informed us we had to leave because we did not follow the rules.
It is clear to me that Mikey singled us out because we were a gay couple. Though the Quests are fun and physically and mentally challenging, the discrimination has ruined this activity for my family and I. I encourage all those who are not white and heterosexual to beware of this place.

There is nothing else in the world like this place. Hard to explain but it is equal parts escape room, puzzle solving, and physical challenges. In description, it sounds like you will have some significant downtime as you wait for rooms to become available, but that is not the case. At the absolute most, you will have to wait 2 minutes to get into a room. If that's too long...go do a different room and come back. It's fast paced and each room is a unique challenge. We did a 4-hour passport and that time FLEW by. Cannot wait to try it again if we're ever back in Boston.

I’m so happy Boda Borg is open again. There is no place I love more. The combination of physical and mental challenges is just perfect. It’s not like anything you’ve experienced before. Try it!

This place is so much fun. I am 65 with a bad knee and cannot wait to go back. The staff is friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend this place.
Boda Borg is a quest game. There are about 20. Each game contains 2-4 rooms. You do not know how many rooms until you hit the last one.
Games are color coded by physical activity required. But do not fear; even I could do most black (most physical) rooms.
As you solve the riddle in a room, you proceed to the next room. But, if you fail a room, you start from the beginning. Flowing through the rooms is relatively quick; it is possible to go through a room in a minute or two -- although some may take a bit longer.
My understanding is that they change the quests periodically so it does not get stale.
Buy the full day pass. You will not be bored. We were there from 10 am to 5 pm and would have stayed longer if the place had been open.
Have fun!

I have been to Boda Borg twice now, once with friends and and again with my siblings. Loved it! It kind of has escape room vibes, but is more fast paced. Also, you don't have to just hang around if you're "stuck," it's easy to take a break from a quest, try another, and come back later. One HUGE recommendation (especially if you're going to try a lot of the physical quests and stay for a few hours): KNEE PADS! Omg, such a life saver. I didn't wear them the first time and regretted it. Wore them the second time and my experience was much improved. A surprisingly large amount of the quests involve crawling or climbing, so they really helped. Other general tips for first-timers:
1) Start with farm or rats to get accustomed to questing.
2) You MUST be in a group of 3 to 5. If you are in a large group you will need to split up, and if you are in a smaller group you will not be able to complete the quests.
3) Get an all day pass for sure. 2 hours is not enough, even if you go at a less busy time. I would recommend planning to spend at least a half day there, but depending on how much fun you're having you may spend more or less time.
4) After 6 PM parking is free, but nearby parking on the street and in garages is reasonably priced.
5) There are a few restaurants within walking distance, and if you get the all day pass you can leave and come back. I'd recommend leaving for lunch or dinner and then coming back after if you want. Their cafe is limited in options.
6) If you are worried because you are not physically fit, rest assured that you will likely be fine for most quests, but may not be able to complete some (such as bootcamp and superbanan).
7) GO! This place is super unique and fun, I have enjoyed it both times I have gone.

What's the best time to go to avoid a ton of screaming kids? and/or long lines?
撰写日期:2018年1月11日
Definitely on a weekday. Avoid weekends. Call ahead as sometimes they have special events planned for school or companies during the week and it can be crowded.

Is it ok to bring kids ages 6 and 8 to this? Adults will be with them.
