I have not seen a play here but have been 3 times for paint night. Had a great time, they are excellent hosts. It was a comfortable space, lots of fun and will look into seeing a performance.

Live theatre in downtown Middleboro...always something going on....Live theatre, Comedy shows, singing, dancing and all kinds of excellent entertainment. In December, they're having a Sip and Stroll event - sip wine while strolling through crafts on display from local artisans.

Saw a great show there right in our town so close to home and they do matinees too if you need something fun to do close by give them a call you can usually get tickets at the door!

Leading Ladies (just about the funniest play - EVER), is playing for the next three weekends (4/15-16, 22-23, 29-30) . I have had the golden opportunity to receive a preview of this hysterical show.
The Alley Theatre (behind the Burt Wood School of Performing Arts - "down the alley!!!") is a great place to see shows. (Free parking within one block!) The "worst" seat in the theatre is less then 30 feet from the stage. A place full of laughter.
Nemasket River Productions (a non-equity, semi-pro , theatrical production company-based in Middleboro, MA) has diligently produced a fantastic play full of love (triangles!!), laughter (hysterical!!), fanciful costumes (drag!!), fencing (actual swords!!), plays within plays, tango dancing and so much more. You will want to scream "AWOOOO". !!
Performed at one of the top things to do in Middleboro, this play should be on your list of things to do!!!
Look for Nemasket River Productions on Facebook or the web to get your tickets. You really don't want to miss it!

We have seen a number of shows in this charming, historic building. No bad seats. Actors are not fully professional, but do a great job. Prices reasonably. Sets are outstanding, created by Max V. - a genius!!!!

So, do you love Gone with the Wind?? NRP is at the Alley Theatre performing Moonlight and Magnolias, the story of the writing of Gone with the Wind. (You haven't read it?). Fast paced and very entertaining. Funny?? This cast is NUTS !! (Peanuts to be exact!). The set alone is worth going to see!
The Alley continues to be the best little venue around. The seating is set up in large curves for this production. This former bowling alley (ok in the 1910's) continues to roll the perfect game with every performance.
Don't miss this show! Don't miss this place!! It's just about the best thing to do around Middleboro.

Nemasket River Productions' play Table Manners is a great evening of fun at the Alley Theatre ! Hidden away , down "The Alley", behind the Burt Wood School of Performing Arts -this venue supports some of the very best performing arts in the region. Lots of good parking within a block (sometimes you can get the spot right out front.). NRP is a local, non-equity theatre company that rehearses independently then performs at the (Quaint!! Cozy!! - Air Conditioned!!!) Alley Theatre, several times a year. Table Manners is a British 1970's setting farce about families and affairs, that utilizes the Alley perfectly. It's hard to find a bad seat when every seat in the house is Orchestra-center and the last row is less than 30 feet from the stage.
The Alley Theatre, Nrp( Nemasket River Productions) and the Burt Wood School are all on Facebook. So it's easy to keep up with the latest offerings.
All in all. A greAt time at a great place to see a great play !!!

GREAT smaller venue right in down town Middleboro. Parking on the street RIGHT out front, or two Town parking lots within sight of the Theatre. Tucked away "down the Alley" behind the Burt Wood School of Performing Arts, this theatre has hosted some of the best talent seen around. Currently playing is GYPSY !! Not to be missed.

Not a dinner theatre. Usually a cash bar with small snacks. Intimate and fun place to catch a show. I've been to many shows here and always had a lot of fun.
Dinner...a few doors down you have the Charred Oak Tavern....good food...not your typical small town drink menu. Always plenty of free parking. Park and walk to both.
