Want to learn about farm animals ... this is an absolutely amazing place for kids and adults. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. This is the REAL DEAL...you will definitely smell Mother Nature ( animal poop ) at some point. This is what makes this place legit and wonderful. They even have concerts several times a year.

My daughter LaShawn and I had my three year old granddaughter's birthday party at the Soule Homestead in Middleboro on Sunday, October 15, 2017. The theme was "Meet the farm animals"
I am overjoyed with happiness and would like to express my deepest appreciation and thanks to Meg and Katie for the complete success of the party.
I realize it is not easy to entertain thirteen children between the ages of three and six but they were engaged and anticipated each next move for the entire two hours. From the coloring of the paper bags for goodies, to the field trip to the chicken coop to meet the chickens, rabbits and ducks, to the walk across the field to meet the goats and sheep, the kids were totally focused having a blast. The time went by so quickly!
After meeting the animals, they were sent to wash their hands for ice cream and cake while Katie created a haystack in the barn, filled with bags of trinkets for the kids to find in a haystack scavenger hunt. The children loved digging for treasures and tossing hay around. Again, they were so excited!
Katie was patient and helpful to us throughout the planning process. She helped with the set up and break down. Our guests had the nicest things to say about the farm, such as "I am so comfortable here, I feel happy and very well taken care of." They also had lovely things to say about Katie, such as "She is warm and sensitive and her love for children really comes through as she works with them."
It was truly a wonderful day and I had to take time to put it in writing and again say "Thank you!!!"

A working farm with community garden spots. Organic farmers in the back fields. Education center to children to learn where there food comes from. Beautiful vrounds with walking trails

The staff are wonderful. The festivals are lots of fun and family oriented. There are many classes to take which are affordable.

If you would like to take a step back from technology and enjoy the simple pleasures in life, visit this farm. You will meet sheep, goats (Ursula is the resident goat) and be able to take nature walks, visit the educational center and perhaps take a class. Classes range from watercoloring, to constructing your own wreaths, to making candles and even learning how to start up your own bee hive. Come visit the farm and learn about local history and enjoy this beautiful natural landscape.

A visit here truly helps to appreciate (or dislike!) how the modern world has evolved. It really brings out the naturalist in my and makes me want to do more hiking, and have a healthy life style. I enjoy waiting for word on future functions here
