I was in the area for the night and stopped in as I found this place on Pinside.com and I love arcades and pinball. I had to add this place to Trip Advisor as I was surprised it wasn't already listed. Maybe due to its new location at the Natick Mall. To me, there are not enough arcades and places to play pinball. Game Underground is that and a lot more. This place specializes in Japanese rhythm games. There's so much more than Dance Dance Revolution and not many places you can play them. They had 3 pins when I was there and good ones too! There are a few ticket redemption games with tiny prizes for the kids. Additionally, there are some standard arcade games as well. In the back, there are tables with tv sets and home consoles and while I was there, there were at least 4 sets of people playing Super Smash Bros. I know they also participate in gaming competitions. They hold weekly events for popular, competitive fighter games like Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat, as well as card gaming (MagicThe Gathering). To top it off, they also sell used retro and current video games and the collection was solid. Finally, the two gentlemen working there while I was visiting were super helpful. Seeing some of the games are in Japanese, sometimes navigating the menu can be a little difficult. I didn't even have to struggle as they came by to offer help on two different machines. It's not often I get to talk arcade and console gaming and it was nice to engage with the employees for a few minutes. It's very clear that they are passionate about gaming and eager to talk about it in an open, non-presumptuous manner and those are the kinds of employees you want at an arcade. I hope their business will always be fruitful.
