Clearly not recommended at $275 = $55 each x 5 (3 adults 2 youth). Was embarrassed for my 1st time foreign visitors to the USA and Cape having such a negative experience. Unable to understand tour guide mumbling and a vehicle on a very warm day with poor A/C. Lived, visited, and have a Vineyard family connection to Vineyard and was so ashamed of the tour performance. After several calls, 50% costs refunded.

Troy is the BEST tour guide you'll ever have! Engaging, educated, personable, and funny! He speaks the entire 2.5 hours, giving you historical information, inside local gossip, fun facts, and much more! I highly recommend this tour - the absolute BEST way to gain an informative overview of the Vineyard! Good value for the cost! Tip WELL - it's worth it!!

Not to be missed introduction to the Island. Our driver and guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Not rushed, comfortable.

I was with a Road Scholar group. Road Scholar is always pretty careful in selecting its experts, but Troy's tour of Martha's Vineyard had a lot of us thinking it was the best we'd ever been on. Geology, history, ecology, politics and tales of the island's many celebrities -- Troy is a thorough researcher, a lively storyteller, and a thoughtful and empathetic observer. It was a truly entertaining and illuminating morning.

Troy is the most engaging tour guide. It’s clear that he loves Martha’s Vineyard and all of its characters, quirks, history and places. The entire tour is chock full of interesting information that Troy shares in a genial manner without being trite or overdone. It was such a pleasant way to see the island and get a feel for its past and present.

Thank you for an excellent tour of Martha’s Vineyard! Our guide, Troy, was very knowledgeable and delivered a perfect blend of historical information, cultural perspectives and interesting current local news. The tour covered the entire island and we recommend this tour as an excellent orientation for first time visitors.

We did a tour with Troy when on the Vineyard. He was an amazing tour guide. He answered all "my" questions and took us to places we would never had know to visit. He was very knowledgeable and told us some very interesting stories about the Island. If planning a visit I would highly suggest Oak Bluffs Land and Wharf Co. for your tour and be sure to ask for Troy. Thank you Troy for a wonderful experience!! Tim and

We took this tour on a very rainy day.
I was glad we did it as when it’s raining in Martha’s Vineyard there is not so much to do.
It took us nearly 3 hours to tour the island. Only one stop which was fine due to the weather but I find it sad there was no stop in Edgartown and the other towns/villages.
Lots of information from the tour guide, a little too much for us but still good.

The tour was excellent! Our guide and driver Troy, was a wealth of information! He kept us entertained with great stories about the area. The van was comfortable and he is an excellent driver! All I can say is that we thoroughly enjoyed the tour!!

We want to tour this Saturday 7/14....mid afternoon (ish)... I understand you offer two types of tours? What are they & costs? Do we need to make a reservation?
