We were visiting Provincetown for carnival week. I just don’t look good in hats, so my husband set out to help. We were headed to the parade and saw Mad as a Hatter. When I walked in she asked what I was looking for and when I told her my dilemma she said she loves a challenge. So many different types, styles and sizes!
I actually found one and will be headed back on our next visit.

I recently purchased a hat for nearly $50. AFTER the purchase was completed I was given the option of providing my e-mail or my phone number in order to receive my receipt.
When I asked for a paper copy I was told that was not an option. The ONLY way I would receive a record of my purchase was to provide my personal e-mail or my phone number, which probably goes into a database. In any case, the notion that a customer must provide a peice of their personal information in order to get a receipt is ridiculous, unprofessional and not consistent with proper accounting records.
I am not sure whether the justification for this practice is cost saving on the part of the business or some cockamamie effort to save the environment, but in any case it is highly unprofessional.
At the very least, customers should be told that they will not receive a printed receipt BEFORE the transaction is processed.
This shady business practice should be looked into by the credit card companies and the IRS.

Strolling through P'Town, my husband and I poked into Mad As A Hatter. Friendly welcome. There was no rush trying on hats, changing colors and sizes. What a smorgasbord of hats!
We were encouraged to try on anything that caught our eyes.
My husband bought a black porkpie hat that looked great, the first time he's wearing this style.

Every style tasteful kind of hat you can image. Located on Commercial Street just short of the center of town. This store has been in operation and at this location for many years. Some hats are unique and others simple, colorful and flamboyant. Most reasonable price. If you looking foe a hat in P-Town, this place has to be your first stop!

It was a super sunny Sunday. So I bought a beautiful hat here. Nice selection. Awesome style love it!!!

The ladies went into this store and I knew I was in trouble. They love hats. After about 1/2 hour, while relaxing on a bench I heard my name called with sugar dripping from her voice. "Please come inside, I need some money". Another hat for her collection. This store has plenty of hats, even had a few for men. The lady that runs it was a fun person too. If your lady likes hats this is the place to try or maybe stay away from. Just kidding.
